This is the most popular pinochle app in the Mac App Store.
Pinochle is a card game played with a deck of 9s, 10s, jacks, queens, kings and aces. The game consists of a repeating sequence of bidding (for the right to name the trump suit and to pass cards), melding, and trick-taking. Players score points by melding various card combinations and by taking tricks.
In this version, choose either single-deck (48 cards) or double-deck (80 cards), and adjust the rules to play the game as you're familiar with it.

Newest version update - First of all, I don’t understand all of the negative comments for the previous versions. My father taught me Pinochle when I was 10 years old, (60 years ago) and, yes, there are a few quirks in this game, but overall a good game. Please tell me if there is a better version? The new version has added many features, and I will have to play more to see how much the “logic” has improved, but first impressions are very good. I like the new “concede” options - speeds up hands. And scoring options have expanded greatly. Thanks
DO NOT BUY - Froze up and cannot restart. It is nothing like playing live. When a player has only winning trump left it goes into Auto mode and plays all cards for everyone. It does speed up game but lame. You do not get chance to play against other live players that I can can find so you always play computer.

Partner isn't too smart - Partner consistantly overbids, it gets frustrating when I get a jump bid of 2 for twenty points and then partner melds 6 or 8 points
BAD upgrade - House almost wins MELD TO HOUSE A MOST EQUALS BIDE. Evem the few times you recevie competave had MELD already meet or exceeds bid
Error in Meld - I found a bug. In the settings, I have additional marriages in Trump suit with a run set to 4 points, but the game only gave 2 points. I have screen shots to illustrate.
Don't Like New Playing Cards - If I could, I would go back to the previous version. I should have known better. New and improved often isn't either.
Double deck - opposing team failed to fully exchange cards, game is now frozen with north/south having 2 cards each, west no cards and east 4. don't know how to resolve or who to contact with problem
