Awesome. - Great PDF reader and alternative to preview. Only PDF reader i could find on OSX that lets you have tabs open.. extremely important if you need to have lots of PDFs open.

Missing basic search functionality. - I downloaded the app hoping they fixed a major shortcoming of the last version of "Preview". Nope it doens't, and it's so simple. Fix this and I will be so ever grateful. Didn't use it after I found that, so my one start review is based on this alone. YMMV - (void)windowDidBecomeMain:(NSNotification *)notification { [NSApp setServicesProvider:self]; if( self.useFindPasteBoard ) { NSPasteboard *findPastboard = [NSPasteboard pasteboardWithName:NSFindPboard]; self.searchString = [findPastboard stringForType:NSPasteboardTypeString]; } }

Version 1.2.8
Review by hans_0_L_0

it started out good but... - as i initially started to use this program i was pleased to see the good interface and the fluidity of it all, i added all my books in pdf format and carried on. Now, 2 weeks into the initial download my pdfs are unable to be read and i have deleted and redownloaded the app several times. i dont know if it is an issue on my part, my OS or the app which had been working splendedly until then.

Fantastic for power users - On Windows I used SumatraPDF and recently I switched to Mac. This app, PDFNut, fills the role seamlessly. It can open multiple PDFs in tabs and does so much faster than the native Preview. Control-Tab lets me scroll through my tabs easily. Thank you!

If you have coordination issues, it may be hard to navigate - For whatever reason, PdfNut ignores the page up and page down buttons on my mouse. I have scrolling software but it's only suitable for short moves.
