MovieShare is the easiest way to share movies between your Mac and any iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or another Mac.

✓ Simple sharing with all your friends on any wi-fi network
✓ Receive movies from other MovieShare users on Mac, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch
✓ Drop movies straight onto the dock icon and 'InstaShare'
✓ MovieShare apps are FREE for Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

MovieShare for OS X is compatible with OS X 10.7 (Lion) and greater.

MovieShare can share any movie that is compatible with your target device. If the movie can be played by your device, MovieShare can share it.

So if you've just caught one of those precious unforgettable moments on video: baby's first steps, little league home run, graduation day or maybe something unexpected - and you're desperate to share it around - MovieShare is the answer!

You can share clips from your camcorder, iMovie exports, iTunes movies, Photo Booth movies - in fact any movie on your Mac.

MovieShare is so simple that Grandma can use it (no offence Grandmas). Just select the movie and choose where you want it to go - Dad's iPhone, Mum's iPad or Little Jonny's iMac - immediately the movie is transferred over wi-fi to the target device.

Simple sharing of movies - I filmed a short movie of my son on an iPad. Transfered it to my iPhone with MovieShare for iOS. Then I transfered it to my Mac mini using this desktop version. Easy. For the reverse, you need to be moving/sharing m4v files that are formatted for the device. I sent a 300MB video to my iPad just fine. I separate m4v wouldn't transfer without conversion (apparently offered via app upgrade). I am running OS X 10.7.5 on my mini, and the App worked fine. I tried it on my wife's aging 10.6.8 laptop, and I was getting crashes, so I suspect there is a OS version problem that a few people are experiencing.

Doesn’t work at all - I have an imac and an iPhone 4s. I installed the app on both. They are on the same wifi network. Neither one sees the other on the app. If i drag a movie from the folder to the icon for the app on the iMac it tells me no other devices are running the app. Worthless. Got what I paid for!!!

Very handy application for putting my videos on the I-pad - I’m a professional video producer and this is my goto app for sending my videos to both my I-phone and I-Pad. Can’t believe all of the other reviews, mine works every time and I highly recommend it. Before I found it I had to play the I-Tunes game and that was a never ending hassle. Wish it was available for windows too.
