Fun game with a few drawbacks - This is a good gin rummy game. I've never played against real people, but their "hard" game engine is fun. I am trying to accrue enough free coins to buy the "insane" game engine player, but it definitely takes a while. Of course if I wasn't so cheap I could pay $4.99 and unlock it immediately, but I feel like I already paid money for the game so why pay more? One comment about those who say you have no control over your hand--select the "manual meld" button on the start screen and the automatic melding stops. On the whole I recommend this game.

Not like Gin Rummy for iPad or iPhone! - I paid 1.99 for this for the iMac and it has almost no functionality. I like to play online turn based games but it isn’t an option on this watered down version for the iMac. This is one of my favorite games for iPhone and iMac and I wanted to play on the iMac too when I relax at night.

Ok but the computer obviously knows what's in your hand - This may be one of the best Gin Rummy computer game I've played, but it definitely does not appear to be random. The computer seems to know what you need because that's what it ALWAYS discards when cgoing out or going Gin. If I win a few games, suddenly, the omputer has gin (or big gin) repeatedly for several consecutive hands. Somehow, that seems rigged. It happens too often to be coincidental. Too bad. Update: I'm so tired of this 'm deleting it!

It's fun - I play the free version while I watch television. There are a bunch of features that require bonus points or upgrades. I just want a good clean game of Rummy. The graphics are clear and I've never had it hang up on me.

Way, way, way too many ads & self promotion!!!!!! - To me, the games do not seem randomly played or dealt, there are just too many coincidences. Also, when you buy a game, there should be a way to turn off any self promotions/ads and constant upgrade promotions they constantly put on the screen. This is really, really annoying. I would not recommend just for this alone.
