Just great! - Works quickly and is intuitive. Price is reasonable and there is no need for emulation and Windows software. A true Mac program which frees the machine embroiderer from owning a windows machine. I've used it in conjunction with my Viking Designer SE without any problems. Unwilling to pay the $1000's for Viking software I used Embird on my outdated Windows machine. I can confidently say, Essentials is Embird's equal. I'm one very happy MacBook Pro embroiderer.

Does nothing I want to accomplish with my embroidery - Bought after reading reviews, and I have no idea what these other people were looking for, however this app does nothing that I need it for. I cannot import images, other than files that have already been converted to embroidery files. I went to the website for this vendor and I find there are additional apps that need to be purchased for additional needs. I would like a refund.

Works great - I have an outdated machine and software that I was in dire need of replacing. I replaced the machine with a newer one with the USB drive and needed new software to get my many designs into it. What to do? I have a Mac computer now which I love. All the other software out there is overpriced and sadly very few are Mac friendly. I had been checking out this software for a few months trying to decide if it was worth the risk. It definitely is. Within 12 hours of purchase (without reading the tutorial) I was able to load a USB stick and stitch out a design. (And I sadly had to sleep inside that 12 hours). I’m thrilled to say I will be able to retire my junky old windows computer with my outdated software now. I only hope that Embrillience will make available all the other software components thru the App store! Please! So convenient to purchase and download!

Purchased in 2013 for my MAC-Updates DO NOT WORK - The developers need to pay attentnion to paying customers. You can not correctly update this program because the serial number seems to constatntly be an issue. I paid $150 for this in December of 2013. I am forever getting pop ups saying my software is out of date for my MAC and Embrilliance REFUSES to correct the issue for those who purchased directly via the app store. I make sure to purchase in the app store so if I ever have to wipe my computer or reset it to factory settings, all of my purchases are in one place. I have emailed the develper without success on resolving this issue.

So Amazing! - This is such a wonderful program! You can really do so much with it and you have complete reign over your design. One great feature is you can pick which order you want different elements to stitch, so you can control how many times you need to change the thread color. You can also type out a word, then increase/decrease, completely move each letter individually. You really can do anything with this program! Very easy to upload new fonts you purchase as well, although it does come with a good amount to choose from. I’m not sure why others are confused on where the serial number is, because once you open the program, you click on ‘help’ and it gives you the number right there. Youtube has lots of great tutorials on the ins and outs of this program. I know it’s pricey, but you will not be disappointed.
