Simple file sharing for Dummies! - Well, OK, maybe not just for Dummies. This is a great tool, especially for multi-computer households. There are a couple of very minor issues. The most significant of which is that if two people are logged onto the same computer (via user switching) and both are running DropCopy Pro, neither can see/share with the other, although both users on that single computer can be seen/shared with from other computers or iOS devices on the network. I've taken the time to show this utility to a number of friends and co-workers, and every one of them has purchased it...and *love* it.
Keeps on not working - When I try to transfer a file to any of the Macs on my network from one of the macs on my network the file gets to 99% complete and just stops. I have tried deleting the plist file, as is recommended on the 10base-T website... I get one or two transfers to work and then it goes back to stopping at 99% complete again. Let me know when it is fixed and I will adjust my rating.

Better than AirDrop (sorry Apple) - I’ve recently used four different apps to do transfers. All had issues (if they worked). I was stuck with AirDrop which was too many steps and too clumsy for me. Open on both computers…blah…blah. I used it begrudgingly. Then I found DropCopy. So easy. So instant. I’m in love! Be sure to check out preferences. You do not need to set up destinations. Bonjour works fine. Mine are within feet of each other if that makes a difference. Or select not to use Bonjour and just set the destination to the other Mac name. The destination set up is much easier than it first appears. I selected to show computer name along with user name as my name came up on each and that was a little disconcerning. Seriously the best thing since sliced bread!
Been Around much longer than AIrDrop - It works better for transferring files, and can also transfer the content of ClipBoards
