You’ve been punitively posted to Mars after assaulting your commanding officer, who ordered your unit to fire upon civilians. The Martian marine base acts as security for AGM corporation (AGM), a multi-planetary conglomerate, which is performing secret experiments with teleportation by creating gateways between the two moons of Mars, Phobos and Deimos.

Phobos is considered by space marines to be the dullest assignment imaginable: "with no action for eighty million miles, your day consisted of suckin' sand and watchin' flicks in the rec room." This all changes when the AGM experiments go horribly wrong.

Computer systems on Phobos malfunction, Deimos disappears entirely, and "something fragging evil" starts pouring out of the gateway, killing or possessing all AGM personnel. Responding to a frantic distress call from the overrun scientists, the Martian marine unit is quickly sent to Phobos to investigate, where you’re left to guard the hangar with only a pistol while the rest of the group proceeds inside. Over the course of the next few hours, you hear assorted garbled radio messages, gunfire, and screams, followed by silence: "Seems your buddies are dead…or WORSE…"

As the last man standing, your mission is to fight through the entire onslaught of demonic enemies by yourself in order to keep them from attacking Earth.

Loved it. - Take the original DOOM (from '94?), change the monsters, and that's what you get. Sure, the graphics look very 90s (pixellated), but I was able to set my iMac (a 2008 model) so that it worked perfectly. I've bought all three versions that are currently available, only only found one bug in one level where I got stuck. What a way to re-live those months (years!) that I wasted playing this addictive game. Worth every penny!

HORRIBLE GAME DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - I soon as you start this game your charactor will just start running around and just shooting randomly. If you try to exit the game the controls don't work forcing you to shut down your computer and restart it. I tried again playing it thinking that it was just a glitch but no the game is just crap.

Enjoyed the free version more - I really enjoyed the free version so I went ahead and bought the pay version. But the pay version seems like it was laid out by amateurs. Doesn't seem to be much thought put into the maps, just random room after room. A lot of stuff that can't be picked up. Lots of lava pools that may or may not damage you, lots of barrels randomly placed all over the place. For $5.00, it's still an OK game, just didn't live up to what the free version was.

Great Buy! - I gotta say, MOALAB did a GREAT job doing this. I played the original DOOM online forever, and I never could find a way to play it outside of wifi. This game did a great job recreating that priceless, terrifying mood that was always present in the original DOOM, and that was the thing that other clones lacked. The game was difficult, but definently doable. If you played 15 minutes a day, it would take you a week or two. I loved the very simple look and feel of the game, and the weapons were truly fun to use. Overall, great game! Definently worth the buy.

Good beginner game, not a great Doom Clone tho. - if you wanted a simple scaled back version of a Doom Clone to introduce someone to the elements of the game. This is where to start. If your a Doom expert like me, this game will bore you. Lotta rooms that have no point, lotta stuff i expected to see that didnt happen. No secret doors, or extra hidden monsters coming outta nowhere, its a really simplified game compared to DoomedFreedom. That Clone is MUCH better and MUCH more like regular Doom was. All the familiar codes work, thats good, but its just so simplified and scaled back its not fun for me. But well written, Good monsters, guns, codes, and stuff. U dont have to think and watch your back as much in this one tho.

Dooms Knight - The App Store is selling Apps that will not run on MacOS Catalina. There is no notification of such. The customer pays for the App, which will not run. A message displays telling the customer to contact a non-existent developer for update. i.e. Doomed Heretic by Also Dooms Knight. Customer pays and gets nothing, and with no procedure to notify App Store of defective outdated apps.
