It’s slick, simple and smart - Cult of Mac

Journal turns Evernote into diary storage - Macgasm

Brand new way to use Evernote.

Open the app and start writing, record your life, catch that sparkling new idea in your head.

Don't worry about font, title, which notebook to put them into.

Each day, we create only one new note to hold all your short notes within the day, and put all of them into "My Journal" notebook in Evernote.

So you can have peace of mind, knowing no matter how many short notes you write in a day, they're gonna stay in one note, so your Evernote library is totally organised and clutter free.

You may have tried Momento or Day One before, but hey, what's better than keeping all your notes in Evernote? What's better than the dead simple UI of Journal app?

If you have any problems , just email to [email protected] , we try to reply each email.

Good App quick response to bug - I downloaded this app a week ago and couldn't get it to work on my 2008 MBP running OS X 10.7.5. I emailed support and got an immediate response. I then sent in the crash report and they began work on the fix. Great customer service.

Not ready for Primetime - It's still very buggy. When I launch it the first time it works. When I try to launch it again for additional daily updates it does nothing. I end up having to reboot my Mac to get it to load again. This is a real shame because the IOS app seems to work very well. The fact that it is really not cross platform will force me to look at other software options for Journaling.

It works for me! - I like it, gave it 4 instead of five stars just because I’d like to add pictures, like I do in the iPhone and iPad app. But it does a great job as a business journal. The fact that I have a record of when and what someone said to me is great. Thanks

finally able to journal consistenly - I am so thankful for this app. For years I've tried to journal but have never been able to keep up with it. I started using this app on my phone, and I've been using it for about 3 weeks straight daily - I love it! I love how it organizes the notes in Evernote, removes the clutter, and is reliable. I've now have it on my ipad for about a week and It truly makes journaling easy - it's the beauty in simplicity. And now that I can have it on my Mac, it's even that much easier. Give it a shot! BTW, I haven't experienced any bugs that I'm aware of. The 4 stars are for how awesome the concept, methodology, and execution of this app is. I'd love to give it 5 stars if the GPS and photo upload feature could be included in a future update. Overall, I truly am thankful for this app.

Handy for quick entries - The bug seems to be fixed, see below. Not sure I'm ready to jump back on board but we'll see. bumped rating up to 3 stars. Finish your thought, or lose it… Found the hard way, if you don't finish the entry you are working on - say you click away to your browser to check something - well, that's it. The entry is gone. Will just stick with the evernote helper app for few times I would use this.
