omPlayer is a special minimalist web browser to comfortably listen to music from online music services. For supported services it lets you control playback from menu bar or from any application with global shortcuts and media keys, supports Growl and Notification Center notifications and Last.fm scrobbling. For other services these functions will not be available but you will still enjoy its unobtrusive behavior.
* Currently supported services: Google Play Music, Grooveshark, Pandora, Deezer, Rdio
* No need to keep browser tab or window open
* Control your music from menu bar, dock icon or from any application with global shortcuts
* Send (scrobble) information about songs you play to Last.fm
* Growl or Notification Center notifications on song change
NOTE: When omPlayer is set not to show its icon in the Dock, use ^⌘F shortcut to exit fullscreen mode.
NOTE For OS X 10.6 Users: This version was mistakenly marked as compatible with OS X 10.6, while in fact it is not. We're working on fixing this in the next update.
* Fixing the issue with Dock menu not being shown

Well done! - This is how I would like to see more developers write desktop wrappers for web services. Simple working UI elements, common media key controls, clean growl presentation. This makes google play/music a much more usable service. Great stuff!
Money thrown away! - Application does not comply with what is showing in the illustrative picture .. if you put a playlista to play he does not recognize the cover of any song and not the function enables to play / pause music or exchange .. money thrown away .. I regret very much to have spent 1.99 it should be FREE!

Big step backwards - The best part about this app was the ability to use media keys with Google Play Music. With the recent update, there is a settings page to input shortcuts, but the media keys do not work. A fix for anyone not receiving sound is to go to preference>advanced>click the box for enable flash player for Google Music. Really hoping the dev gets this fixed, but he’s never answered my question in the past, so I won’t hold my breath.
Terrible Update - This app worked beautifully until recently…now media keys do not work and I cannot manually set the shortcuts.
Sound doesn't work in latest version - This app was nice… until the latest update. Now sound doesn't work *at all*. The player indicates that it is "playing" and you the dancing bars in the Google Music playlist view, but alas no sound is produced. Very disappointing, wish I could downgrade as the earlier version of this app played sound just fine. Forced to use 'G-Ear Music Player' app in order to enjoy Google Music All Access via an OSX app now.
Functions exactly as advertised - I had been looking for a simple, functional desktop player for Google Play Music for awhile, and discovered Omplayer. It works like a charm, chugging away inconspicuously in the corner of my screen, with all of the functionality of the Google Play Music website and then some. At $1.99, it’s a steal.
Sound does not work - I bought this for the quick bar menu feature but this app doesn’t work. Songs do not produce sound despite all other apps working fine and producing audio.
