Great app for viewing iTunes play stats - If you have a big iTunes library, or if you just like to follow how often you listen to your favorite songs, albums or artists, mySpins is a great, simple app that aggregates this info and displays it in a series of nice lists. See what you listen to most - such as how many total plays for artists and albums, or find what gets the highest rotation by artist, genre or playlist. This is a fun app that tells you more about your listening habits than what iTunes play counts show.

Doesn't work well for large libraries - I have almost 29k songs in my library. When I first opened the program I couldn't even tell it was working because nothing happened. I thought, oh well, wasted 5 bucks. Then about 25 minutes later the rankings finally appeared! After I closed the app and re-opened it - same thing; long wait. If you have a lot of patience and 5 bucks to blow, go for it. The rankings are somewhat interesting but didn't really tell me much I didn't already know.

Works great, and more accurate than Last.fm. - Last.fm's scrobbling service has been somewhat flaky lately, so if you wnat to keep track of playcounts, this is a much better way to go. I only wish the top album spins were distinct as I have more than 50 albums entilted "Gold" (6779 spins) and "Greatest Hits" (4193 spins).
