Great password / data management app. - I use mSecure and love it. It is probably THE most used app that I have. I started using it a few years ago on my iPhone when it was the only Apple device I had. I then learned that they had a desktop app for my Windows PC and that I can sync them together. I then added it to an iPad and now I have a MacBook Pro and the app has continually improved over this time of acquiring more devices. My Windows PC is now gathering dust and the app updates between all devices immediately and flawlessly any time a change is made or entry is added. It can do so much more than keep track of passwords, as you can enter almost any kinda of data you might want to have with you at all times, such as insurance information, vehicle information, purchases you might need to keep track of, warranties, serial#'s, etc. Endless number of uses. It now also supports taking photos of items you might want keep track of, which would be great for insurance claims. No, I do not work for them, just love their product and have been meaning to post a positive review. Check out this great app. I have had no problems using it under IOS8 and do not have any issues with the Mac app either. A reviewer commented about needing more categories and icons, but I don’t find that to be a problem. I can find any of my entries quickly by simply starting to type an entry name or keyword and mSecure finds it for me.

Beware of Version 5 - I have used this app and the iOS version for years. I sync using WiFi on my local network because I don’t want to store all my passwords in the cloud. You never know… However, the upcoming version 5 will only sync through MSecure’s own cloud service. Not via WiFi or Dropbox like it does now. It will force users to store their information on mSeven’s servers. This makes it LESS SECURE. Furthermore, we have no way of knowing if they have a backdoor to unencrypt our data. The new version also requires users to create an account with mSeven just to use the app. They say you don’t have to use their cloud service, but that’s not true if you want to sync. Together these are two steps towards losing the trust of customers like me. I won’t be upgrading. I’ll be looking for another solution. I am one angry and disappointed customer.

Changed me password on the Mac desktop version, now can’t get into it - What a joke. I tried to change my password on the MAC desktop version and I can’t get into the app again. I’ve removed and reinstalled the app twice and still can’t get back in. My new password doesn’t work, neither does the old one. Hope you don’t mess with the iPhone or iPad versions, or I’ll find another program. I will not pay for or use mSecure 5… It’s time to find another app.

BACK UP BACK UP - YEs, I know that the old version is going away today, BUT, there was no notification. Luckily I had exported everything into the proper file a month ago. I love this app, but the change over has been a little scary… Now to reset the desktop to sync. Which it is not doing right now...

This version is excellent - This is what I expect in a password manager. It syncs with my existing cloud providers (which have 2FA), has decent encryption, and allows me to not have to type in my very long master password to decrypt when I don’t need to.
