Best around - I have used and recommended mSecure for years, always a great product. In my free time, I teach Apple Classes, and have recommended mSecure to several thousand people by now. Always interesting to see people’s eyes open up when they start using the program - or the users switching from another password wallet realize how superior mSecure is to what they were using. If you want the best, then mSecure is it. Plus, $30 one-time cost for all your devices, you can’t beat that. Also, like others have advised, ignore the complainers in here. People who cannot see the forest for all the tree trunks. mSeven has always worked hard to update mSecure and they are constantly improving it - which by extension means answering the complainers. Remember, it is always easier to cry about something than being a constructive influence. If you have an issue, I suggest contacting mSeven, they respond back right away and work with users to address their issues.
Buyer beware - I really hate to give bad reviews but like my title says “buyer beware!” Don’t take my word for it just go to the support forums for this application and read for yourself. Riddled with launch delays and not a single email to keep PRE-PAID purcharsers updated. Several promised and missed release dates, mixed stories as to the reason. Sometimes it was “we are working out final kinks so it is perfect”, “we submitted it to the app stores” or others. At one point they were working out the kinks after it had already been submitted to the stores … really? Listen as a developer I understand what goes into this process, but where this company fell flat on their faces is in the lack of communication with clients. Not a single email to let me know what was happening with the late release. I should not be forced to go to the forums to find out what is happening. I have previous versions of this product and it was great, but this version don’t waste your money. NO DROPBOX sync so if this is important to you stop reading now. I am still waiting on them to submit my refund which is one of many that requested it (read the forums if you don’t believe me).I could go on at length but truly do not want to bash this company. Yet at the same time their customer interaction is the worst I have ever encountered. You should wait about 6 months before “upgrading” to this version. BUYER BEWARE!

The new version works but now we depend on Msecure staying in business or we can’t synch - I’ve used Msecure for years, The old version would synch between devices without requiring an Msecure website. The new version requires an Msecure website and thus is useless for anyone who spends most of their time not connected to the internet. I spend most of my time not connected to the internet so I looked at a few other programs. All are much worse than Msecure. I tried DashLane and it won’t import its own exported files. So, I decided if I’m forced to use the internet, I will. Now that we are forced to depend on Msecure staying in business, Now I export all my passwords monthly in excel format, convert to an encrypted excel file, store on a thumbdrive locked in my safe, and then delete local copies. Meanwhile, I’m learning XCode and will write my own software that doesn’t require some company stay in business for me to synch.
Good updated for great app - I was using mSecure 4 for years and just upgraded to version 5. Personally, I like that mSecure now provides its own sync service - I was maintaining a DropBox account just for mSecure and can get rid of it now. Upgrade from the old version was very simple. Can fully recommend.
Can’t install the new version - I’ve used Msecure for years, now I have to change software. I bought an android phone and tried to install Msecure but it keeps asking me for an email address. My previous versions on all devices never asked for an email. I haven’t a clue what email it wants. Only option is replace Mesecure with a different program. Pain in the A, sa I have it on quite a few machines.
No iCloud support - I installed, then de-installed this. The current mSecure apps I have on our iPads and iPhones sync with iCloud, and this wants to use mSecures’ own cloud exclusively. I don’t want or need yet another cloud account. Going back to version 3.5.7.
