Must have app! - I’ve had this app for several years, on all of my devices. I just updated and it’s better than ever! Love the new features and doing a synch to the cloud makes everything that much easier. A+

Buyer beware - I really hate to give bad reviews but like my title says “buyer beware!” Don’t take my word for it just go to the support forums for this application and read for yourself. Riddled with launch delays and not a single email to keep PRE-PAID purcharsers updated. Several promised and missed release dates, mixed stories as to the reason. Sometimes it was “we are working out final kinks so it is perfect”, “we submitted it to the app stores” or others. At one point they were working out the kinks after it had already been submitted to the stores … really? Listen as a developer I understand what goes into this process, but where this company fell flat on their faces is in the lack of communication with clients. Not a single email to let me know what was happening with the late release. I should not be forced to go to the forums to find out what is happening. I have previous versions of this product and it was great, but this version don’t waste your money. NO DROPBOX sync so if this is important to you stop reading now. I am still waiting on them to submit my refund which is one of many that requested it (read the forums if you don’t believe me).I could go on at length but truly do not want to bash this company. Yet at the same time their customer interaction is the worst I have ever encountered. You should wait about 6 months before “upgrading” to this version. BUYER BEWARE!

Upset Former User - On Feb 19, 2017 I looked around and thought mSecure looked pretty good so I purchased it. After I paid and got it installed I was sent an email that said I could purchase the new update when it would be released 2 months later. I immediately contacted them with the news that most software companies allow free update to paid updates if your purchase was within a specified time and usually is about 6 months, I was told to send an email and they would put me down as being paid when the new version came out. Then here comes April and no update. Again most software companies will blow their horn that the new version is coming but the don’t give a date until its ready. Now we are in May and the new version is here so I excitedly downloaded and migrated into the new version and as soon I opened it I was met with the fact I had 30 days left on my trial version. I have not heard back from them but considering the way my entire situation has been handled I am not going into shock. In addition, I don’t like the fact that my backup will not be on the iCloud. I have found out in my life if you hear barking, there is a dog nearby. I have uninstalled both versions and am now using enpass instead. So I wasted $20, not the first time I have done that either. If you don’t mind being treated poorly, jump on it, water isn’t too cold.

No Dropbox/iCloud sync, one of the chief features - I used to recommend this app very highly. It used existing cloud drive storage APIs, so an attacker would have to hack those (and try to bypass two factor authentication), then figure out the encryption key for the database files stored. Now, the only thing that keeps a bad guy out of my data if I use the -only- syncing capability in this product, is a single password. No 2FA, no multiple tiers… this product has gone from “pack your own parachute” to “here is a black box ‘cloud service’. Trust us.” This is truly disappointing, and until this is fixed with the multiple provider support that was present, I am just tossing this app and using something else. If I want to store passwords in a specific cloud service, I’d use DashLane or LastPass. I hope this will be addressed. mSecure was a product I used and swore by for years.

Stay away! - Other reviews sum it up. I love prior version of msecure and gladly paid when they mentioned the new and improved msecure5. They completely bungled the release of it. Continual delays, no updates, etc. I was never even notified of availability. No local sync is a complete deal breaker for me, and everyone else on the forums too it seems. Come on, get it together! I would never recommend this to anyone now. I'm not even sure I will use it, even if local sync is added back. This is what happens when you take your customers for granted. Completely disappointed.

Lacking both features and support - Long time user of previous version so hopped on the $9.95 upgrade. Many delays and a distinct lack of notices on progress. Finally released and discovered there is virtually NO instructions on converting over, so naturally I screwed it up. I used a CSV file from the old one and then spent HOURS cleaning it up. Then I discover that (unless I’m missing something) it won’t even auto fill like LastPass does. You have to copy and paste, going back and forth. If there is an autofill feature, then they need to explain how to do it. Im going back to LastPass which actually works fairly well. Buyer beware with this. I’ve made three requests over a 9 day period for support and have received nothing but the automated “gee you are our highest priority” message, but no actual human contact. Sorry Mseven, you will have to do better if you are going to survive.

Really BAD roll out - I have been a great fan of Msecure for years, but you blew the roll out of your new product. Requested prepay saying we would here in an E-Mail later when ready. No E-Mail just all of a sudden old Msecure stopped syncing. Really poor regard for loyal users! I’m now looking for a new manager to replace You Guys.
