Simple and works - A good troubleshooting utility replacement for “BonjourBrowser" from Tildesoft that stopped receiving updates (and working properly) a few years ago. Normally I lament the fact that App Store apps can’t offer a demo but this is from the same company that created HandyPrint+, a print spooling solution for iOS devices through a MacOS machine. So I felt confident it would work. (Note if your interested in HandyPrint and this app, pay for this first and HandyPrint will be licensed for free as well per the company’s website.) It’s a simple app that solves an annoying problem- the ability to see what services are being broadcast via Bonjour (or I should say “your computer is seeing as being broadcast by Bonjour). Used this to diagnose problems where my iPad would stop showing up in iTunes for syncing over Wi-fi. By watching the proper Bonjour service name (_apple-mobdev2.tcp) I was able to confirm the broadcast problem was occuring on the iPad side, not my Mac. (Upon rebooting the iPad, the device would appear under this service name.) I’m not sure it’s really an $8 app but it’s a bit of speciality tool and so I suspect the author’s charge a few more bucks to make it worth their effort to maintain it. I hope it continues to work under Yosemite upon release as well...
