iClap lets you control your Mac by clapping your hands. iClap tracks your Mac’s input volume and uses it to determine when you clap your hands, iClap will then perform any action you desire.

Supported actions:
* Open Finder
* Hide All Applications
* Activate Screensaver
* Get New Mail
* Play iTunes
* Play VLC
* Play QuickTime
* Open Any Application, File or Script

Note to anyone not able to get iClap to detect claps: you need to clap twice and you need to have a second or two of silence between claps, do not clap too fast. iClap will also not work in a noisy environment. The clap detection engine is a work in progress and will be improved in future releases.

Slow down - At first when I bought this I made the mistake of hitting purchase before I read the reviews. Upon reading a few of them I was dismayed and further saddened when it seemingly did not work for me even when I had my hands right next to the microphone. I gave up on it but saw the icon still in my dock and had to try again. To my utter elation it worked! Only when I paused between claps, when I clapped slower I was amazed at how well it worked. I was so amazed at how I could start my screensaver from any point in my bedroom that I needed to write a positive review for this app! So if it is not working for you I plea that you slow down and try again, if it still does not work oh well...

DONT BUY THIS - This app is a total waste of money. It doesn't work. I've redden my hands from clapping and it won't do a thing. Please save your money and invest it in something useful.

Its really good trust me - Omg the other guys dont know how to use it, i wont write a gigantic review because theres no point. ok so listen.. You need a knewer type of mac which has a microphone, it works really well. You have to add which feature you want it to do when you clap your hands twice and when you put them you have to quit the application!!

Works well in quiet environments - At first this application would not do anything for me. No matter how hard I tried I could not get this thing to run, launch or perform any action. In dismay I went into my quiet room, sat down, launched the app and clapped twice. It worked fabulously, and I didn't even have to clap slowly! Their is definitely an art to iclap at the momment, and its features are very limited. However I knew it would be this way considering it is extremely new, and I expected as much from a $2 application anyway. With future updates I can really see this becoming useful, with multiple actions for different claps, and maybe even powerpoint/keynote integration (how cool would that be!) Buy this app for what it will be, not what it is now and you will be satisfied. Even so it does everything it says it will do in the description, so I have no hard feelings. Peace :)
