Description:

If you have EyeTV and Directv, eyeChange is a must have app. eyeChange allows EyeTV to change the channel on a Directv ethernet enabled box over a home network. This provides a nice and clean EyeTV DVR installation. No ugly and cumbersome irblaster or serial cables required. No elaborate hardware configuration or ir codes to worry about.
eyeChange is easy to configure and use and hides nicely on the desktop as an icon in the menu bar.
Configure once by providing the ip address of your directv box then use. Simply schedule record on Eyetv and eyeChange will change the channel on the Directv Box.
Most Directv HD boxes have ethernet ports including
H20, H21, H23, H24, HR20, HR21, HR22, HR24, HR25 and others.

It works ! - I have an EyeTV HD with Directv hookup.... the ir blaster method was just terrible... THIS WORKS! uses your ethernet connection to your directv box to change the channels reliably and fast.... ElGato should include this with the box.... no more IR amen!

Works perfectly - Been meaning to write a review on this since forever. It works exactly as described. I don't know what else to say other than that it was the missing link to my remote viewing setup that i'd been looking for. Also, the developer has been extremely responsive to questions and even helped me transition to the App Store version after I had bought an earlier one.
