Works fine* *if you have a functioning brain - Been using this app since its beta and im not sure why so many people have issues with this app. Must be the ‘im not smart enough to figure out tech, so i bought a mac’ user thing. Like everything else, you have to be smarter than the device to get it to work. I know you guys are mac users but come on, it only requires the use of a few brain cells.
Stop working after Yosemite update - Stop working after Yosemite update. Progam opens but just asks you to connect windows phone - nothing happens. Tried 3 different cables including the one I have been using all along - no luck. Unistalled Windows Phone and reinstalled twice, no change. (Every other 3rd party app and program I have for my mac was either ready when Yosemite update released or had an update withing a day or two for download. You click on the ‘support’ in the ‘About’ Windows Phone flyout and it takes you to a page on the Microsoft Community web site that displays “Page Not Found”. Steve Jobs once said in an interview about Microsoft … “The problem with Microsoft is that they have no taste.” (agreed). The other problem with Microsoft is that they drop the ball with consistency. They have such a small market share with windows phones you would think they would want to make sure that a Mac user who purchased a windows phone would be able to sync it to their computer. I gave them a chance by trying a windows phone but this is the nail in the coffin for me, from now on I will aviod all windows product like the plague.

Microsoft you improve this app right now!!!!1 - This app is absolute crap. Unfortunatley, this is the only medium with which I can sync my music and pics with my Nokia Lumia 520. Or at least try to. Ive been trying to sync for the past hour and it just won’t recognize my phone. On the rare occasion that it does the app usually crashes and is very slow. No matter what I do there are always problems. Microsoft: I gave your software a chance and all I want, or rather “demand”, is that the simplist of functions work. This is not the case and I 100% understand why you are doing horrible in selling phones/computers. It’s because of crap like this. Fix this ASAP or you’re about to lose another customer
Not Working with Nokia Icon - App was working perfectly fine until I updated to 3.1.1 a few days ago. Post-Update the app opens and reads as connect phone to continue. After connecting phone to computer and waiting the sync never happens. Any tips or tricks? I’ve noticed that for most people 3.1.1 fixed the prior errors so any help would be awesome, I have tried plugging into different usb ports and using different micro-usb cables Thanks- Alex
Yeah finally I have it work back up - 3.1.0 did not work at all, with this update, the app is now back with its job with improvements of UI and functionalities. Sync won’t duplicate your music files as before, and I’m now able to delete items in “Browse Device”, which did not work for me in the version before 3.1.0, that’s what I have noticed so far. Welldone and thank you MS.
Not Worth the Effort - Really all I want to do is get photos from my ATIV S Neo into Aperture. A seemingly simple task that I can’t accomplish by means other than saving the image files off the phone and then importing them into Aperture. It kept asking me to authorize it access to a different iPhoto library… not the Aperture library I’m actually using and now in Preferences, both iPhoto and Aperture are grayed out. Uninstalled, Reinstalled. Same. Click “Support” got a 404. I’m done. This is not my primary phone and with this kind of application support definitely won’t be.
3.1.1 Works! - After 3.1.0 completely broke the program (wouldn’t even open on my computer), I am happy to report that 3.1.1 works flawlessly! The best way, hands down, to sync a mac with Windows Phone 8/8.1. My Lumia 929 is ecstatic.
