Helpful App - Very helpful in seeing what channels your neighbors' routers are connected to (1-11). Would be even more helpful if it separated the networks based on which wireless networks around you are on 2.4 GHz and which are on 5 GHz.

Will do what I want more or less but repeatedly crashes - Mac Book Pro 8.1 OSX 10.9.4 release version 8 GB RAM I am a paid member of the Apple development team on OSX. I wrote the support site on this app asking a question. They did not answer. I needed a program that would manage the wifi connections- specifically ones with the same name but different BSSID’s ie. like one finds in a large hotel with different hotspots on different floors with the same name. The included app in OSX for controlling wifi is abysmal in its decision making process about which of the group to try to connect to. I run Wifi explorer (an EXCELLLENT program) as well so can see whats going on with the wifi connections. I wanted something that would scan and allow me to make a decision on what to connect to based on signal strength and SNR- and BSSID. This tries to work but repeatedly crashes (Ive sent half a dozen crash reports to Apple, and have written the developer- all in having purchased the program about 10 minutes ago). I am currently traveling in South America and am not able to build anything to do what I need , reason for buying this. While it has possibilities, someone needs to clean the code up so it runs stably. Additionally Apple needs to look closely at the support responsiveness of people it allows to place their apps in the app store. Finally , to the developers of WiFi Explorer please add the ability to control the wifi interface to your excellent program. Expat As a followup to my last (above) when the program is not crashing, it will not control the wifi adapter- it will connect and disconnect (and crash in process of doing that) but it will not connect to the BSSID you tell it to. A total failure. I want a refund. Thanks

Unusable - As others have noted (I should have read the reviews before buying) this crashes repeatedly. Also, It does not recognize all network interfaces, even though this is supposed to be suported.

DONT BUY IT - It simply crashes every time I try to use it. Every time I do a network scan it just crashes. No updates or fixes. APPLE give me a refund! Waste of money.
