Best desktop Twitter app, but could be even better - This is by far the best desktop Twitter app. It's lightweight, and has features no other client for the Mac currently has, such as hiding the app window when out of focus. I marginally prefer it to the official Twitter app which, although it's actually not at all bad, converts all your links to its own t.co short URL service even if you try to use your own. I do have tow slight peeves with this version of Weet. Firstly, Weet allows you to choose your own URL shortener, although at present it only offers bit ly and doesn't appear to support using your own bit.ly account. Secondly, the list tab is also slightly less easy to use than the official Twitter app's: you have to select the list you want to view from a drop-down list, whereas in the Twitter app your lists are displayed in the tab, ready for you to choose from. But of course Kiwi, for instance doesn't support lists at all. For anyone who doesn't feel comfortable with the official Twitter app's 'closed' environment, this is clearly currently the best alternative.

Simple & Clean - I have been looking for a good Twitter desktop app for Mac for a long time. Most are either too complicated or have a horrible interface. Weet is simple and clean. Small touches like autofill Twitter names are a very nice touch. Love the lists options and searching with Weet for Mac. Check out the iPhone version as well. Look forward to a few minor update but this is definitely my desktop Twitter app of choice. UPDATE: Lists no longer works for Mac or on the iPhone version. Support is completely unresponzive. Please hit up MarceloMarfil and RaptorApps on Twitter to let them know they need to provide support. With current functionality NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Fix app functionality and it will again be my app of choice. Lack of support from the developer has turned this into one of the wrost Twitter apps. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
