Reviews:
* I love this app. It is simple and useful.
* For me, it is important to be able to set the click to below 30 bpm, so your metronome is perfect. Many thanks.
* Thank you so much for making this metronome, I’m playing a tune in 7/8 and it’s been really hard trying to find some metronome where you can adjust how many beats in a bar.
* I really love the visual numbers. It really helps me stay on time.
* I like the ability to accentuate a beat on the metronome and that it turns bright red.

Easy and Well Supported - I find the program very easy to use. I checked out other reviews before purchasing and, after seeing the issues raised by the most negative review, it looks like the program has also been updated to address those isses. So, on top of being easy to use, it also looks like the program recieves attentive support and updates.

A simple program, that simply doesn't work. - I was hoping this program could serve as a back-up to my hardware Boss metronome, but, unfortunately, the software needs a lot of work: 1) It doesn't keep time! I sync'd it with my Boss DB-60 metronome, which always keeps perfect time, and Web Metronome gets off a few milliseconds after a couple minutes. I also sync'd it with songs on iTunes that I already knew their bpm, and again W.M. couldn't keep up. 2) There is significan't latency/delay after hitting the start button. This is problematic when you need the metronome to start right on a beat when using it with existing tracks. The first click needs to start simultaneously with hitting the start button. 3) Using a slider for the Beats Per Cycle function is challenging when you only want to move one or two beats per cycle. Adding buttons would help. 4) Needs an independent volume control so that you don't have to turn your whole system down while using it, especially when using it with downloaded tracks. #1 above is a major problem, given that keeping perfect time is supposed to be the main function of the program. The other issues I've mentioned make it impractical for using as a click track for live use. The program is inexpensive though, and has the potential to be useful for simply practicing keeping time with a guitar, piano, etc. It has a long way to go before being suitable for use as a live click track.

Fantastic - I picked this up on a whim. Just started playing guitar again after many years of playing and needed a metronome. Much more flexible than a traditional metronome. You can adjust the beats per minute, beats per cycle (need to use the accent beats to take advantage of this), accent beats, and volume. All except the accent beats can easily be changed on the fly using single key keyboard shortcuts. Really an awesome app. If you need a metronome this is fantastic. Much cheaper than a traditional metronome as well. I'm really impressed. I'd love to see a keyboard shortcut to change the accent. That's a minor thing as I'm very keyboard centric. The metronome provides both an audio and visual cue for the beats and the accents (if you have this set). An added feature that seems trivial but can be helpful is the included workout timer. Very simple to use. Very impressed.

Simple Metronome - I bought this metronome to use when I practice my saxophone because I like to turn the speakers up loud to hear the click. The metronome is very easy to use, and the shortcut key funtions provide quick changes in tempo. It also counts how many measures the metronome has gone through, which is a nice feature. However, it does have its short comings. This metronome does not provide subdivisions of any kind. Douple, triple, and sixteenth subdivisions are pretty standard on all metronomes, but are not present here. This is huge downside. You can simulate subdivisions with the accent beats by doubleing your tempo to have an eigth note feel, but the tempo only goes to 240 which limits the "subdivision" tempo to 120. Pros: Easy to use, Smiple interface, ability to use custom accent beats (great for mixed meter), easy keyboard shortcuts, measure counting, practice timer Cons: No subdivisions, 240 tempo limit, slightly low volume (I still have to turn my speaker up pretty high), no odd-meter selections My advice: Save your money. There are better metronomes available for download. If you want to use this metronome, it is available on their website for free. webmetronome.com
