“WeatherMin is a nifty app that’s very “Apple”: It’s elegant and minimalist, but it’s quite useful for those who just want to keep an eye on the weather. And in my testing, it used very little memory and processor resources—something that can’t be said about many of the other weather apps I’ve used.” - Macworld.com
Please note that the current version of WeatherMin uses a data provider which only supports US locations. International support is coming soon in the next free update!

Perfect - Revising my one-star review since new version fixes crash. This app is perfect for me. Quick glance at the screen for current conditions without even having to bother with dashboard.
For real? - I purchased this application based on the 5 star reviews. I honestly think that all of these reviews were written by the writer of the program. I am amazed that someone would charge $5.00 for a program that "simply" shows the temperature and a one or two word listing of the weather. Currently my screen shows 33 degrees, fair. It says that at 10pm (one hour ago) the temperature "will be" 24 degrees. Probably the worst "investment" I have ever made! It also says that at 11:00 p.m. the temperature "will be" 24 degrees. It is now 11:22 p.m. and the temperature is 32 degrees by my instruments. I would really like to know why anyone would rate this above zero stars is way beyond me! This is the first program I have purchased from the new OSX app store and will probably be my last. I have purchased over 200 from the iOs store and have been happy with 99% of them.

great start, would like more customization - this app does what a lot apps say they will, but don't. I just wish I could customize things more; I have it installed on a desktop computer, so I don't really need to know my location (if I end up in a new town with this computer, it's because I moved, or drank wayyyy too much last night). Be nice if we could interchange whether to show location, weather via icon or text, high/low, etc.
Great Simple App - This app does exactly what it says it will do. It does not try to be fancy and give the user things the user does not want or appreciate. I love it!
Low Memory = Awesome! - Uses just 43MB of memory with great functionality. Highly reccomend.
Simple == elegant - Does just what it says simply and elegantly. The desktop overlay with the current conditions is great. I love this app!
Love what it does, but just a bit too simple - I've been using it for a while, and I absolutely love putting it's info directly on the desktop, without a "window". I love the weather "icon-like" indicator that shows when it is going to rain, but that is only available without the days High & Low weather indicators. I wish there was a way of putting High & Low with something to say "Its going to rain today", but you can't do both. If it did that, I would give it 5 stars. After all, it might reach 75-80 degrees in So. Cal, but still rain in the same day. If you live in a part of the world where it is either warm, or it rains, maybe that is not a big feature for you. Lastly, it took a while to figure out how to disable Notifications, which I found useless. It would notifiy me constantly, as the weather went from "Cloudy" to "Partly Cloudy", to "Some Clouds", etc. 20-30 notifications in a day, and changing the nofication setting, both in Growl and Notification Center did nothing to stop it until I discovered the application's preferences overide Growl and Notification's setting. Very annoying… Still, well worth the price, although I've lost all hope for any changes in the application to enhance it.
