Very convenient! - I really enjoy having this app on my Mac. I can just glance at the icon in the dock to see the current temperature and conditions, and I can click the icon if I want more info. I’ve stored about seven locations in the app, and it’s pretty easy to switch from one to another. It’s one of my most-used apps!
Need iPad App that will run on my Mac !! - I have several iPad apps that do a pretty good job of weather reporting. Too bad none of them will run on my MacBook Pro. This app is not really useful at all, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Especially not to a friend. Someone REALLY needs to develop some weather apps for Macs & laptops similar to those for iPad and iPhone. So. No. I’m not pleased with this one at all, and even less pleased with half a dozen others that I have tried over the last couple of years. This one is still on my MacBook (unlike the others),, but only because I want to have SOMETHING no matter the lack of quality or usefulness. . . .

Useful App - I find Weather Dock to be a useful app. It shows me the current temperature at a glance just by looking at my Mac’s dock. If I click on its icon in the Dock, it gives me a wealth of information including a seven-day forecast and temperature, precipation, and other projections throughout the day on an hour-by-hour basis. Most importantly, this is a true Mac app and doesn’t require opening one’s web browser to obtain any of this information. The display of information is easy on the eye, too, which is especially important to me. BTW, it works flawlessly under both macOS Sierra and macOS High Sierra.
Quick and useful for planning the day - Not only does the app sit in my doc with a simple icon giving the general nature of the weather outside, but an always present temperature lets me glance down without having to open the ap. If it suggests rain, or simply looks cloudy out, I can open it up and see the percent chance of rain broken down by two hour chuncks (also temp, wind, direction, and humidity), which lets me inform my son’s and wife’s trips to school and work as well as my own. It offers 7 day forcasts as well for weekend and the like planning. Fast, simple and has what I need to know right there. Expands and contracts quickly, letting me drill down into times if I care, or simply note if I need a jacket or umbrella right now, or will later in the day. Had it for ages.
Handy - easy way to get a quick check on the weather.
Weather Dock - It treasure the accuracy of their reports in this backwoods location. Would appreciate them more if the double charge could be cleanup!
Great App - I love having the little weather icon in the dock -perfect. And the graphics are nice!
