Worked Great! and the on the first try! - I used the Wake On Lan program in conjuntion with the iNet program (also available on the app store) and they both worked perfectly! It's refreshing when software actually does what it says. iNet will show you the MAC address (hardware address of the network card) if the computer is ON. So make sure you turn on the computer that you want to use Wake On Lan with -because you will need its MAC address. Another way to get the MAC address of a computer on your lan (if the computer is OFF) is getting it from your router - usually located in the routers "LAN" setup section. The router should also show the computers lan ip also (I set up my router to reserve the same ip for each device - makes it easy to access each device when you know it always has the same ip address). Enter the MAC address and the ip address into the Wake On Lan program and click the "Wake Me" button and your all set. I was able to wake my remote server even though the server was powered down. Great program!

App does not work - Installed the App on a MacBook Pro and found that it does not work. When instaled the respond is: "MAC Address not in the correct format" We are sure it is! There is no support except for Twitter Junkies. The Help file does not give any real help. This App seems be is written by a kid who actually has no concept of how a program really should work and what kind of support is needed to avoid negative feedback. In summary: NOT RECCOMMENDABLE

worked fine - Works as advertised but could use some polish. A basic understand of how "Wake on LAN" works is helpful. Certainly worth the $1.99.

False Advertising - App works great if the computers are on your network, however this app does not allow you to connect to a computer "anywhere" in the world via the internet. You can not manually enter a computer's Mac and IP address, the only way to try and connect is via getting the computer discovered. Well to be discovered it must be on your network! This makes it very difficult to "discover" a computer outside of your current IP address. Next, even if you can finagle the software to manually enter the IP address, it will crash every time you push the wake button.
