Incredibly Awesome App! - I just started becoming a DJ, and rocked a house of 250 two weeks ago. The software was really easy to use (granted, I've been working with this for about 2 months, but any first timer should be able to perform no problem). A personal favorite feature is the beat grid/ looping tools. Both are great for what I'm mixing, and they allow me to put my own twist on songs! HIGHLY recommend this app for any party. After going for 3 hours straight with this, I'm never going back to another DJ software. So much better than djay!
Terrible app. Wish I could give it zero stars - Why is this app still in the store?! Doesn’t Apple monitor apps that constantly crash and never work properly? If you look at all the comments for this app the last one was 2011. Good thing mine will be at the very top to warn users away from this program. Go with something reputable like Djay or any other app where the developers actually put out updates to help improve their product. In this case it looks like they forgot all about VirtualDJ. Maybe the don’t want to be reminded of how poorly a program this really is.

Very good mixer for either the pro or novice - I have this app for a few years an have seen the changes some good some bad but what app doesn’t have it own issue they all due… this DJ mixer is very good sure there are better ones out there but if your good this app will allow you to match it… As a music engineer for over 30 yrs. i can say i have found no better for apple or windows… be you a pro / or a novice it still has settings for both users to tweak to comfort. Ok now the down side. It could use an update guys come on…. and i hate to say it i just turned it on and it won’t cue music in mix mode which renders it not a mixer but to a media player… this is an apple issue as i never seen it happen on windows which i still use to make the finished video music product.
Used to work.. - When I first downloaded this app it was amazing. However it no longer plays any of my library saying “error” everytime I attempt to play a song. Please fix for a higher rating.
HELPPPP - so i dragged a track and hit play and it wont. nothing happens. is there a next step im suppose to do or change. help. asap.
HELP - i would bang out to parties with this simple program and i love it. BUT when i updated my itunes to 12.0.1 none of my tracks would load to the decks. it kept saying ERROR were the time span should be. any help?
Doesn’t work on Mac OS X Yosemite(?) - Not sure what’s going on with this app. I’ve got both .wav files as well as .m4p files and neither will play. Fortunately, no money loss, but still. The app loads fine and and I can drag & drop tracks to the platters, but from there it lists “error” and won’t play the tracks. Issue with OS X Yosemite, perhaps?
