Great Game - Smooth Play - Game is fun, a lot more detail than the first version -- more things to watch and manage. Personally I think this version is more fun that the first. And hopefully, equally addicting. Manage items like: jobs, happiness, environmental, population ratings, etc. There are a few words misspelled, but if that's all that I've found so far; game is fairly well polished. good job g5e -- entice us with an expansion pack next :)
latest version is trash - Updated to the latest verion and game screen becomes lagging. I have the latest version of MBP and still lagging. Give me back my previous version. Can't believe you roll out new version without proper testing.

What have they done? - I love this game, but the last update has ruined it. About a minute into the game and, like the other reviews say, it begins to lag and then freezes. Please restore the game to pre-update status!
Believe the reviews - I find this game incredibly entertaining. Too bad it is piece of junk. Even after all of the complaints, reviews, and promised fixes, this game still lags and still freezes. I now can't get it to work at all. The only solution given is to uninstall and reinstall. Not falling for that one given that previous users note that doesn't work. It really is a fun game. Maybe the developers could actually finish developing it and then someone would want to play.
Over a Year... - It’s been over a year and this game is still not fixed. (As stated in other reviews, eventually you cannot progress because the game freezes a few levels in.) Other games from G5 are great—including the original Virtual City. This sequel is a complete dissappointment. Please fix this broken game or take it off of the App Store. Purchasing this game has left a bad taste in my mouth, and my eyes move to new games when I see G5, when I used to really like the brand. There are just too many other quality game makers that produce simillar games to the ones you make—Play First for example.
Sluggish and virtually unplayable - The only way to keep the game from becoming choppy and slow is to never open the truck, garbage, or bus tabs. That makes it kind of hard to play. I mean, you can still play it, it's just not fun. It's weird that this game is so buggy. The first VC was essentially the same game -- same graphics, same underlying logic -- and plays just fine.
I deleted this and returned to the original - I couldn't use it. I thought upgrading to Lion would help but alas this version just doesn't work. Instead I simply deleted this off my computer until they fix it or offer a refund.
