Best video editor hands down.. Buy it - I tried a number of video editors out there and I found this newer version quite stable and easier to use. It’s way easy to upload to youtube and other website. The best thing also it doesn’t crash like the other free or more pricey programs out there.

Not what I expected at all! - This program froze up on me 3 times within the first 15 minutes. I just wasted $40.00 on this POS program. It does not have LEGIT video editing capabilities, it does not recognize my songs in iTunes and worst of all it freezes everytime I tried to do something within the program!!!

Keeps crashing after latest update - The latest update is not stable. Please roll it back. After over a year of dedicated use, I cannot rely on this program any longer if this continues

Nice Concepts, But Doesn’t Work Well - I’ve hit a wall with iMovie and was looking for something a little more robust but not as full featured or professional as FCP or Premiere. Filmora seemd to hit the sweet spot. On paper its everything that I want - something that’s easy, has multi-track overlay capabilities, fancier titling capabilities and templates, more robust transitions and good stock music that I can use. That’s all I need. Unfortunately, i’ve been fighting with this app all week. The layout is very intuitive, but working with clips is not and it’s buggy as well. Live preview and rendering is a stuttering mess and makes it impossible to do any proper cutting when the lips and audio are completely out of sync. The app fails at the most basic editing tasks. I cannot figure out how to zoom into (expand) the timeline, nor can I see the audio wave form of clips - so the process of actually editing was unusable. After dragging audio to the audio track I did not see where a) I could expand the waveform and drag a bar to lower or raise the volume of the audio file without having to go into a separate window. I spent about 40 minutes watching YouTube tutorials before I even started and all of them only talk about very basic things like dragging files around and incerting transitions to clips, but nothing about the actual process of editing these clips on the timeline - which should be the most basic and intuitive of functions. I’m sure all of this functionality is in the application somewhere - it HAS to be, but it’s buried somewhere and I honestly don’t have the time nor inclination to hunt and peck around menus to find simple timeline editing functions. If I want to learn an unintuitive editing package I might as well learn FCP or Premiere Pro.

Good for making highlight videos but…. - Really good software. I use it to make my highlight videos, but it’s much better on a Windows computer than the Mac. After a while it starts reacting slow and it more accessible on a Windows PC. This started happening after the update.
