Finally, upload pictures to Instagram from your Mac!
The #1 and Original Uploader for Instagram!
Easily share pictures (with captions!) with this handy app with a simple right-click!
To share pictures, simply right click them, go to "Share to Instagram" from the dropdown menu. It's that simple!
• Add captions to your photos–Emojis are supported!
• Crop and edit your photos using over 40 filters and effects!
• Easiest sharing method–just a simple right-click and you're good to go.
Disclaimer: This app is in no way affiliated with Instagram. An Instagram account is required to use this app.
We jumped the shark on the last update. No one seemed to like the changes, despite how much time and effort we put into it.
So here's the deal–in this version, we're going back to the better version (the original version)–with MINOR changes of course. This means it'll work exactly as it used to, but with fixes to the foreign characters bug among others, and a new icon.
Again, sorry for screwing up. We heard from you all (we got a lot of mad emails!) and we decided this is the best way to go.

Works great! - YES!!! Finally an app to post from my mac! Just made my business life much easier. One fix that would be great….it seems to change the clarity of my pictures that I post.
Wasted $4.99 - This app does not work. I repeat, does not work. The icon to log in to your Instagram account does pop up, and I was able to log in just fine. But was never able to upload to IG, or even see the option to do so, which is the primary function of the app. The developers are making a killing off this app that does absolutely nothing. I’d like a refund.

Waste of money - I brought this app and installed it. I followed all the directions and used it several time successfully and loved it. Then it stopped working, I signed out and signed in the Instagram like suggested; I signed out then in with the Uploader for Instagram app; I uninstalled then reinstalled the app…..nothing worked. I wrote to the developer asking for assistance and received a message stating that they basically would get back with me. I’ve heard nothing from them and resent another one….still waiting.
DOES NOT WORK - I did everything in order to make this app work on my MACBOOK PRO. But it still does not give me the option to upload to Instagram and what’s worse is I had to pay for something that does not work. Refund please!!!!!! Or make it work!!!!!
Works great, but RESTART your computer! - This app works great but once you download it and install it on your computer make sure to restart- After you restart right click any picture and you will get an option to “Share to Instagram”, it will then show you the picture in Instagram size and you can adjust it, crop it or filter it right from your iMac and then add a caption and click Share!! Just make sure to restart before you think it’s not working…I would give it 5 stars if they explained how it works better!
FINALLY!!!! THANK YOU!!!! SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!!! - It does work - I restarted my macbook, then right-clicked and had to look down at the bottom of the list - it’s not under “SHARE”, it’s a seperate option all together under the share menu. I’m a own a wedding studio and for marketing need to post to social media- sending the pics to my phone, then saving them, then posting them was just such a hassle - thank you so much for FINALLY making something that works for Instagram!
MOVE IMAGE TO DESKTOP FIRST - Purchased the app for convenience of having ability to post right from iPhoto. Could not get the option to post to Instagram no matter what. Finally tested it with an image that was on my desktop, and lo and behold!! The menus as shown in the images above describing the app do appear and it does indeed post to insta. While this step to move images to desktop is a pain, you are able to post. Developers would be wise to include this info with their “you are ready to go” box…or better yet, fix it so you can just post right from iPhoto or wherever you are getting yoru image.
