Get ready to experience a revolutionary defense game that will send you spinning.

Gamespot says, "...an entertaining tribute to the alien-invasion movies of days gone by and an enjoyable tower defense game that requires you to think on your feet."

Destructoid says, "Unstoppable Gorg is a blast...you'll find yourself coming back time and time again."

Rock, Paper, Shotgun says, "There’s lots to like about Unstoppable Gorg, and not just the neat presentation and excellent production: the actual tower defence model is clever too."

Unstoppable Gorg challenges you to defend the solar system from fearsome aliens by sending satellites into orbit. Unlike tower-based defense games, in Unstoppable Gorg you can move your satellites by rotating the orbits that surround planets, moons and space stations.

Unstoppable Gorg is a lovingly crafted homage to vintage sci-fi movies from the 1950s. Flying saucers, rubbery aliens, dodgy effects, it's got them all. The game's story scenes were shot on film using models, miniatures and actors and then edited together with genuine archive footage to create a classic sci-fi experience that is out of this world.

► Take on the Gorg in more than 40 challenging levels of revolutionary defense action.

► Satellites in orbit replace the towers and grid layout used in other defense games.

► Move your satellites around their orbits to create the best defense for each wave.

► Experience a thrilling story inspired by the classic sci-fi movies of the 1950s.

► Glorious 3D graphics and effects for added impact.

Players with a MacBook Pro with Retina display should enable Low Resolution mode for improved compatibility. See http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5266 for details.

Unstoppable Gorg is 100 percent free. There are NO in-app purchases, micro-transactions or hidden costs. There are no gems, coins or hearts to buy and we will NEVER ask you to spend money to enjoy the complete game.

So what are you waiting for? Earth needs heroes to stop the Gorg!

Good - One of the more polished tower defense games out. Loads quick. Ran great on my 2008 iMac. I like the story mode, a lot more going on there than many TD games. Multiple difficulty levels and it didn't try to sell me something to make impossible levels do-able. Not treating you like a jerk is now a noteworthy feature, how about that.

love tower defense games but.. too difficult in first level - These games are supposed to start of simple, then grow in complexity and become ever more challenging as I get better, but this game, as cute as it is, was so hard right away, I gave up after a frustrated first hour. I feel like I’m missing something really obvious about the way the game is supposed to be played, but I was earning resources so slowly, that I couldn’t get enough to pay for a second turret before I was overrun. I can’t understand why this is so popular. My recommendation is to buy another game and skip this one..

Get it while it's 4.99 - This is an excellent game. Tower defense and arcade game combined with a b-movie sci-fi twist. Very stylish and very polished. The ingame movies are very well done. This is one of a few games I've left a link for, in my desktop, so I can easily access it. Starts out easy, you can unlock an arsenal or technology and weapons, and it just keeps getting more challenging.

Different: Both Good and Bad - For me, the heart of ‘tower defense’ is strategy. Gorg is a well done game, and has some new elements which are always nice to see, but it’s a little to twitch for me. You have to constantly move your towers in their orbit. This is the biggest difference, and IMO, it’s not a good one. I can see how some would like it, I’m just not one. It’s also a bit annoying that you’re limited in where you can place your satalites and at the same time, the incoming paths are not defined at the start. This makes it both impossible to plan ahead, but you’re still penalized for making the wrong choices. That being said, the secondary features of the game are top notch. There’s good tower variety, the different types really do make a difference. This includes an excellent array of support towers. The research and money resource management aspects are also well done. They add richness while staying simple.

Oddly new and old at the same time - With new gameplay that I've never experienced in a TD, this, if I may say it, "old school" new style of TD is very interesting. The description pretty much describes the entire game. chessy story and a new kind of tower defence with many different goals and difficulties. at $5 sale price, its a great buy! One thing though that would bring this game to its glory. A complete movie mode. no game, just movie. but only for those who have completed the game. just a suggestion, because it would be so much fun and make it so I don't have to re-play a level just to see a cut-scene. Thanks for what is almost definately the cheesiest game on the Mac App Store ^_^

One of the best game I've played in a long time - This game is quite simply INSPIRED. From its design to its implementation, this game is absolutely a quality experience - ESPECIALLY for a tower defense game. This game embraces the genre and adds some very valuable improvements as well. The music is fun, the story is entertaining, and the production qualities haven't been seen in gaming for quite some time. I was honestly quite surprised to see something like this from Futuremark, but I hope they have more in them alone these lines. Kudos to the team that put this together - its well done.
