Typing Fingers is an app that will teach you how to type the right way on your Mac.

- Ready for US/EN QWERTY keyboard layout -

Great for homeschooling. Contains typing games.

Typing Fingers uses a completely new approach to teach the efficient touch-typing (ten-fingers) system. It makes typing fun, is interactive and works with modern technologies and a new teaching method. The beautiful design and peaceful music create an amazing atmosphere that allows everybody, including children, to improve their typing skills and get TYPING FINGERS DIPLOMA after successful completion of all levels.

Typing Fingers uses a modern teaching approach based on brain analysis. The SYMETRIC method helps to activate both brain hemispheres equally in the process of learning and playing the game. The user maps the keyboard symmetrically and symmetrical patterns are repeated again and again during the whole game.

Win the game and get Foriero's Typing Fingers diploma! You can get exactly the same diploma as you see on the screen shots except with your name and date of game completion. Just print it and stick it on the wall and everybody, even you, will be proud that you have successfully completed TYPING FINGERS.

(In-App Purchase is required for 29 of levels)
In all the 32 lessons a "Tutor" called "Dennis" will help you to learn which fingers are for striking which keys. The levels are built up gradually, so you learn how to use your keyboard in a fun and easy way.

Each lesson is divided into two parts. The first one is for learning purposes. In this part Dennis helps you to memorize letters and symbols and to practise the correct motion.

The second part is a game and you have "ONLY" three lives to beat the level. Work diligently, ardently and persistently and you´ll get it!

The best - Typing apps are nothing new. I remember using them at least ten years ago when computers were new and everybody had to try and learn the best way to type. However, I think they've improved since then and this app is a good choice, with games and tutorial levels. Dennis is a good character and makes it fun to play. This lite version is a good choice as it gives you the opportunity to try it and see if it's right for you, with just enough levels to get used to it, before trying the in app purchase with all of the nice features.

Didn't work - This app was great for a few levels, but then it kept telling us to type a letter and no matter how many times we typed the correct letter, it said it was incorrect. It eventually got stuck on level 11 because it kept saying we were typing the wrong letter, even though we definitely weren't. Wish I could get my $5 back.

Great way to learn, but.. - The lite version only covers a few letters, then you have to pay to unlock content. Id be willin gto pay, but there is no shopping cart that shows you the price. It just asks for my apple ID pw to purchase without showing any price. For that reason, I gave the app 3 stars. Please add a price so we know what we are getting charged to upgrade, and then can make an informed decision! Also, Id love to see a typing test to start so ou can learn from where your current level is.

One of the better Typing games - A simple straight forward typing game, that teaches finger position. It held my 7, 11, and 12 year old’s attention better than most typing games. There are a few grammatical english errors, but it does the job. I recommend it.
