Turret Wars MP is a fast paced, peer to peer networked Multi-Player and Single-Player 3D arcade lobbing game, where you battle against other players and/or computer controlled enemy gun turrets, finding and destroying them before they find and destroy you!

You can either start/host your own networked game (as the server) and allow others to join your game, or select another game to join from a list of waiting players/hosts.

You can mix and match networked players with computer controlled turrets and set your own game rules. Games can be played over the internet or on a local LAN.

You can collect powerup bunkers to help you survive longer as well and increase your projectile damage or increase your health. There are even missile powerup bunkers to help you shoot down the enemy bombers and drop ships.

Choose from NINE amazing playing environments, each with their own difficulties and strategies, or select RANDOM and let the game select random environments for you.

Choose from SIX different gun turret types, each with slightly different weapon and armor or projectile features. Computer controlled enemy turrets will be chosen as a random selection of these turret types.

You get the choice of fighting against between ONE to NINE network players and or computer controlled gun turrets, in FOUR different difficulty levels. Each difficulty level also introduces differing wind conditions.

Highscores are saved on our internet based high scores server (if you have an active internet connection) so you can compare your scores against other players around the world, based on difficulty level, environment and enemy turrets being fought.

A couple of initial release issues, but great fun! - This game keeps growing on me - somehow it's great silly fun lobbing missiles at other players and hoping to figure out how to hit someone before they hit you. And the nine playing areas provide a nice variety. The first game of this type I played was a DOS vector game with giant gorillas on buildings talking turns trying to hit each other by hurling gigantic bananas. I really enjoy the basic premise of these games - it's the same kind of fun as trying to throw rocks to hit a log on the other side of the creek. They've come a long ways - TurretWars MP is definitely the best 3D variant of this genre I've played. This version does away with turn-based play and everyone's hurling projectiles at the same time. There's even airplanes to try to hit if you're not getting pummeled. However, if your turret ends up getting found quickly, you can be destroyed before you even figure out who's shooting at you. But when you manage to stay alive, it's very fun watching the missile-cam view as you try to zero in on your opponents. I knocked off one star for the incorrect translation of the controls from the iPhone version - pressing the up arrow makes your turret point downward, and the mouse control is likewise reversed. But even with that, this is becoming one of my favorite games for a few rounds of quick fun!

Can't get it to load. - It gets past the Company Logo, then goes white, and I get the Spinning Beach Ball of DOOM.... forever. Never fully loads.

Could be fun - Instant complaints: The lack of buttons on screen to give you hints as to what keys do what is annoying. The game heats up my computer more than Photoshop. And almost instantly. Fail on that part.

Kinda fun - Major CPU hog, CPU temperatures rise real high, close to 200 degrees... Decent game to start, but needs help. Adding high scores is hit and miss and it took me trial and error to find keys to use since there is no help menu or ways to change controls. Game has potential though, needs an update real bad.

Can’t find the directions!!! Click on it, took me to business cards - It probably would be a good game if I were able to download the directions. When I click on Download / Instructions, it took me to the business cards. When I click on TurrentWars MP Support, it could not be found. Sad….
