With Trip planner, you have total control on the planning of your future trips.
Plan your next travel : add trips and assign a photo to each trip
Make your itinerary step by step : for each step you can enter the location, your expected activities, sights, visits, etc. and the total spendings of each day.
Add reservations infos (including the cost for each reservation) : transportations and accomodations.
Manage your packing list for each trip, including clothes, toiletries and gadgets.
Trip planner displays the total cost of your trip!
The app supports iCloud synchronization and works great with the companion iOS app, check it on the App store!
PS : For iCloud sync to work you should be logged with same iCloud account in both devices
Now the day for itinerary steps displays the date instead of the number of the day
New feature : You can now add multiple activities for the same day. For each activity you can enter when it starts and the cost of the activity
You can now enter the company plus other informations (such as flight number, booking reference, etc) for each transportation.
PS : If you're using the iOS version of Trip Planner, please make sure to update both the Mac and the iOS apps.

SED - Caveat emptor! What I bought and what was downloaded are completely different. Basically two windows is what you will get — a page that lets you name and date your trip and a a page titled "Travel Wardrobe” page. There are no pages titles “itinerary”, “transportation” or “accommodations”. And no page titled “Packing List” as is what is shown in a review of the APP. DO NOT BUY. Mr Mengad was misleading in the capabilities of his APP. I need a refund!
Terrible - This app is super confusing and nothing like what it looks like on the main page before you buy it. I tried to start a trip and couldnt even save the name of the trip along with a pic, it just froze. I should have listened to the reviews but its really the only one of its kind out there to plan a trip, which is dissapointing. However, I do not recommend it.
Confusing Icon; Horrible App! - I should have looked more carefully at the description of this app. I thought it was the Mac companion to an iOS app I have that uses the exact same icon, but it is not! I should have checked the name better. Apparently-as per the information above-this does have a companion iOS app, but not the one I use and I do not know how it syncs with iOS as there is no information about syncing to be found anywhere! It must do so magically! Also I should have really followed the advice of the other reviewers and not have wasted my money. As for using the app, it is utterly ridiculous. Adding items to a clothing or travel list is cumbersome, i.e. Click the plus sign to add an item to your clothing list. Then you have to select all the text in the new item to delete the placement text and add your item. Then you have to repeat this for each item you add. This means taking your hand off your keypad and clicking the plus sign each time to add something. It is the height of bad, inept programming. After adding just two items, I cannot imagine having to add dozens of items to my lists. It would take for ever. It is easier just to use a pencil and paper [which would be a lot better looking than this app, to boot!]. I am not going to ask for a refund, because this was purely my fault for not being more careful. There should be some kind of copyright law with respect to using icons from someone else, but, hey. It is what it is. I have learned my lesson and hope that you will steer clear of this waste of time and money. My bad.
