Become Sam Fischer, a renegade spy agent on a personal mission of vengeance, forced to thwart a terrorist plot that threatens millions of lives.

All-new improvisation-based gameplay: Discover a new breed of gameplay, where every object is available to use. Inventory is actually the world around you; you decide how to use it.
Enemies will actively search for you: As a fugitive, quick thinking and adaptation are essential to turn the situation to your advantage. However, enemies can also use the environment and other resources to track you down.
Use the living crowd: Blend in with a realistic crowd and navigate within a civilian environment, mimic them to go undetected or instigate panic as a way to become untraceable as you escape danger. Active stealth will force you to think and act quickly. However, as always, you will have to weigh the risk of heavy force against other options.
Black market: Use your underground connections to gain access to black market gadgets and weapons, and complete your objectives by using consumer-grade gear in ways that were not intended.
Crowd in multiplayer: Play with, or against, your friends in the midst of a civilian crowd – but know that enemies will look like any other person, so your sense of observation and ability to act unnoticed are as important as reacting quickly to an unexpected threat.

What are you talking about - I bought this game about a week ago and it works perfectly. You cant play this game if you paid like 500$ for your mac. This is a high maitnince game you need to spend at least about 1,200$ to make it run good. I use it on a Imac version 10.7.4 with a processor 2.7 GHz intel core i5 and Memory of 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 and it is a OS X not snow leapord. So if you do have snow leapord then dont buy it. But again it works perfectly fine for me. The only thing I cant figure out is how to play online can someone please help me.

Where are the updates? - Exactly how hard is it to add support for Apple hardware; trackpad or magic mouse? This is pathetic. Are you people ever going to update this app? Curious to know what kind of "bug fixes" were in the 1.0.1 update before you decided to ditch it completely. Some game developers even add gamepad support to their Mac games. Not Ubisoft, of course, but some developers. Why do you guys do this? You just release a game, give it the most minimal testing you can, and then just throw it at the app store and leave it there? Thanks for taking my money and running away.

Good Game honestly - Well against all the negative reviews I decided to buy this game. I have a late 2011 15' macbook pro with all the fixings and it works just fine. I have to run the settings on low but even so the graphics are still top notch and the gameplay is smooth. Unfortunately if the battery gets less than 40% it starts to lag, which is kind of odd but not a real problem. Hint for all who might want to buy this game: if you spent over $1800 bucks on your mac like I did, it will most likely run. This game requires very high specs so you cant go cheap with your mac if you wanna buy this game. I dunno all the technical jargon of the video cards and what-not but if you've got an expensive laptop you can most likely run it.

STILL will not play! - Hi Ubisoft-- As much as I appreciate how much time your company put into producting a fantastic game, mine still does not work. Having downloaded "Splinter Cell: Conviction" almost one year ago, by now I am shocked that your game is still not running--on a powerful Macbook Pro at that. Can someone please reassure me, "Never fear--we have not cheated you out of your money, and we are working on FIXING this issue?" Sincerely, A Concerned Customer

What?! - There have been a lot of negative reviews about this game so I was a little shaky to try it. But it is a great game with a great story. The only thing I would change are the controls because they can get a little difficult. The game is challenging even on rookie. Most levels you have to play two or three times before you know how to shoot or sneak your way through. All and all if you want to play some FPS games, this is definitely one to try!
