Time Tracker Professional automatically tracks all your applications as you’re using them. We support all popular applications.
Not only does it track applications, but it also tracks the documents within those applications. For instance, if you're designing different logos for different clients, you'll be able to see how much time you spend on specific PSD files.
Track all your web browsing. Time Tracker Professional tracks which web pages you visit and how much time you spend on each one. This allows you to quickly see where most of your web browsing time goes.
ORGANIZE BY PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES
Time Tracker Professional is one of the very few apps where you can organize your time by projects as well as activities. Projects are "folders" that contain one or more activities. For instance, a project can be a specific client you’re working for. An activity can be a group of tasks for that client such as graphic design, web development, documentation, meetings, etc.
Quick visualize where your time goes via beautiful graphs. These graphs show your time usage on a project or activity basis.
With a single click, you can export your data to be used with a spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel, G Docs, Apple Numbers, etc.
Time Tracker Professional supports drag and drop, multiple level undo, and other conveniences that Mac users have come to expect from their software.

Awesome App, a Little New - As a freelance webdesigner I need to keep track of exactly how much time I spend on projects. I had been using TimeEdition but would often forget to start/stop the timer, and so began looking at the plethora of apps designed to automatically track time usage. I tried many, many apps, but found them all unsatifactory in one form or the other. Then I found Time Tracker Pro. It does almost everything I need, however, there are a few things I would love to see in this app: The ability to assign all files in a folder to a project (like what Lapsus does). Allowing people to remove the dock icon while it's running. A more informative website and blog. P.S. To those of you who are complaining about the lack of instructions: There is no stop/start button because it runs continually. It tracks projects through application/document (file) usage. For example, if I want it to track the amount of time I spend working on a clients website in Freeway Pro, I launch the Time Tracker; open Freeway and work on the file. Then I open TTP's window, create a new project, switch to the "unassigned" project, click on the arrow next to "Freeway" then drag the document I want to assign to the project to the projects file in the sidebar. Now when I open that file or document, it tracks the amount of time and adds it to the project.
Broken - I only played with this for a couple of minutes and then gave up. I added a new project, but coudn't give it a name. No amt of double clicking to get an editable region (normal Mac activity) or option-clicking, ctrl-clicking would give me an edit option. I could edit the name of an activity, so that's helpful. However, this is quite literally no way to actual track time consciously. No times to start/stop or anything. I can't even see that it's tracking any of my activities either. It's totally useless.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT - This software is a joke since it is NOT compatible with Adobe InDesign 5.5. Several failed attempts at contacting Jeremy has resulted in zero replies. I am out $10. What a waste and poor customer service! Do not buy!
