Finally, I can use my 27" iMac for development work. - Macs are great machines, but being new to OS X I was frustrated by constantly needing to resize various windows so I could have Photoshop or a text editor side by side w/ a browser window while developing websites. I have small dual monitors for my old Windows/Linux desktop setup and I'm used to always having two windows side by side and fully maximized (one window in each monitor). That's the most efficient way for me to do development work. I have no need for a second monitor with this huge 27" iMac display in front of me, but I DO NEED 50% width windows that are fully maximized to be as productive as possible (I'm a little obsessive, too, annoys me to have a bunch of randomly sized windows on a display!). TileWindows Lite = Mission accomplished.

Does not work with multiple monitors - It maxes out the height to the dimensions of the laptop screen and not the second, big monitor.

Straight Forward - Works as is. Also, for the user who said the short cut didn't work. I set my own shortcut, but found it didn't work until the application was restarted. Just an FYI.

Hotkeys completely inconsistent - This program doesn’t have the Windows feature of being able to drag the window to the edge of the screen and have it automatically snap to the correct size. That alone is not an issue. I prefer hotkeys anyway. The hotkeys, however, don’t always work. Even after I adjusted all the permissions to allow the app to control my computer, the hotkeys still only worked right after I launched the app. It only seemed to work on apps that were open when TileWindows was launched, which is extremely limiting. Also, there’s no hotkey to return a window to its default size, so I still wind up resizing things a lot so that I’m not dealing with awkwardly-shaped, half-screen windows all the time. You get what you pay for, ladies and gentlemen.

works great! - just like the feature in Windows 7. Just make sure that once you change your shortcute, IT WON'T WORK UNLESS YOU RESTART THE APPLICATION! once you get it working like you want it to, it makes your life easier. after converting from PC to Mac, it was driving me crazy that I couldn't do this until I found this app.
