Tide Graph uses the harmonic predictions from thousands of US coastal stations and presents them in a fun and interactive graph. It also includes water currents and sun/moon information.

Tides have a great influence on the lives of boaters, fishermen, surfers, coastal communities, marine life, and vacationers just to name a few. Directly or indirectly, the great flow of our massive ocean bodies of water impact the daily lives of everyone on this planet.
The cyclical movement of the Earth's tides are caused by a combination of the gravitational forces of the sun and moon as well as the shape of the costal region. Unlike simple tide clocks that you can buy in novelty stores, more accurate tide predictions use special data gathered by instruments located at each tide station. The data from these measurements are used to determine the harmonic components which then feed into the mathematical algorithms which predict tides for the future. The end results are tested for accuracy and adjustments are made as necessary.
Tide Graph has US owned Tide Stations Only. An internet connection is required to get the latest tide graph. - See TideGraph.com for a complete list of stations.

Tide Graph - Florida - Very useful, have boat on canal with low tide problems getting on and off lift. This works great and very accurate.
So far a waste, running 10.8.1 - Cannot get the application to change locations. I am on the East Coast. But it only shows Southern California. Clicking on the map button does not enable one to change ports. Perhaps it is a bug? But for the moment, it is a waste of money unless one lives in Santa Barbara. I am running OSX 10.8.1. Perhaps the current app is not compatible with the newly updated Mountain Lion??

Exactly what I needed - I use this app to figure out whether it’s worth to bring my dog to the beach (low level = mud spa treatment I’m not looking forward to). I do like the map feature so I can adjust the location to wherever I want to go around the SF Bay Area. Exactly what I was looking for and what I need.
Great app but can’t print - I’ve used Tide Graph for years on my iPhone and love it. Just downloaded the desktop app and really like the addition of tide tables. Improvements I would like to see on the desktop app include: 1) Resize windows. Tide table window in particular does not show entire month without scrolling; 2) Add ability to print graph / map / table. 3) Add one-page printable summary with larger table and mini-graphs for quick view of changing conditions; 4) geo-locate nearest stations on desktop app
bad app now - It used to work for snow leapord and the company is not responding any more dont buy I cannot upgrade yet due to software.
