Be Riddick, the most ruthless criminal in the universe. In this latest Atari chronicle, Riddick has been captured by The Dark Athena, a mercenary ship hell-bent on eliminating him once and for all. Using his intense hand-to-hand combat skills, explosive firepower, and lethal stealth, Riddick must shut down the maniacal Captain Revas and her deadly crew. When Riddick steps into the darkness, no one is safe.

Before battling the Necromongers on Helion Prime - even before the crash landing of the Hunter-Gratzner on a deserted planet in Pitch Black - Riddick stalked his enemies across the universe. Play the award-winning Escape from Butcher Bay campaign, which has been re-mastered with top of the line graphics specifically for next-gen systems.

The new Assault on Dark Athena campaign takes place immediately following the events on Butcher Bay, as now Riddick must use his well-honed skills to evade capture by the forces of Captain Revas, and put an end to her evil plans once and for all.

With Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena you get two complete games!

The game is great - I don't know what computer other reviewers are using, but on my iMac it works great, smooth and just got an update.

Crashes After First Arena Fight - Crashes at the loading screen after the first arena fight… it's been 5 months since the last update, so it's not likely to ever get fixed. The game is a lot of fun (5 stars for that), but incomplete as you can't continue after a certain point. I'll be avoiding Virtual Programming games in the future...

I wish Virtual Programming would stop doing ports - Dead Island by VP-HORRIBLY CHOPPY! Found this on sale, again ported by VP-HORRIBLY CHOPPY! I wish this company would stop working on ANY Mac ports with the same programming team. The game seems to APPEAR smooth until I look around or move—yes, LOOK AROUND or MOVE! In the very beginning I begin to move my mouse to look around the screen jumps around like the character’s playing Dance Dance Revolution! Yes, the physical X,Y coordinates change without my initiation. This is unbelievable stutter but, since its Virtual Programming, I believe it. Do they have issues with how to handle mouse I/O? MacPro 4,1/16GB RAM/GTX680 2GB/OS X 10.11 (considering Dead Island was just as horrible on 10.10/Yosemite as it is on 10.11 I’m not going to blame the OS here)

Excellent game even if it crashes. - It also crashes for me once I got to killing the police robot and went up the elevator. But for only for $7.99 this is a great game. It’s worth every penny. If you don’t want the game to skip, keep it at the default resolution. I came back to here again to see if there is an option to buy more to it. Like other packages you can add to it. I willing to pay for them. Great game, even if it’s not all there.

Download by smoke signal - I have high-speend internet connection and a fast computer, yet downloading this 7.2 gb game is calculated at 2 days and 18 hours. Feels like I could get a faster download by pony express or telegraph. I’d love to write about the game but I’ll probably be in the old folks home by the time I receive it. How does Apple stay in business with this kind of shoddy service?

Unable to play, constant crashes - Tried playing both Dark Athena and Butcher Bay, and in both I can get only so far before I come to a point where the game will always crash. Unable to finish. Maybe played an hour (or two?) in both. Waste of money. I have a fairly new iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) with 32gb memory, so I don't think the issue is my machine. Disappointing.
