TExtractor extracts embedded text data from files or executable binaries or app bundles. It provides you with the byte offset, length, and the value of found embedded strings. It helps you audit your release builds for security against reverse engineering and embedded strings, lets you look into other apps and see which libraries/frameworks they link to, lets you view embedded strings/paths, or even just lets you find Easter Eggs within your favorite apps.

Second Review - I contacted the developers about the problem I was having and they immediately replied with extremely helpful information. They told me that the App Store description was incorrect and that the software was meant for OS X 10.7 and newer. However, not only did they encourage me to ask Apple for a refund if I felt unsatisfied, but they still worked through the problem with me and personally sent me a copy of the software for my OS X 10.6 system via email. It works like a charm! I will NOT be asking Apple for my money back, and I've changed my rating to 5 stars. Not only does the app work great, but the customer support was incredible!
