Good, but has some room for improovment. - Not a bad app at all. It's quite speedy and seems to support a variety of input formats! Only gripe so far is that I wasn't able to set a custom output format using the button (it was greyed out). Overall it was easy to use and fast at a *very* good price. I also didn't have any issues with the finished output like the previous reviewer.

Doesn - Bought this app over the $50 elegato encoder. Problem is, it doesn't load video. It produces a video file which contains only audio. Hopefully this is a minor bug but it's not a good sign for this developer.

Does not work under Mountain Lion 10.8 for me - I have tried 4 avi files over the last few days and all of them crash the app when added to the window for converting. So can't recommend it to anyone running 10.8 until it's fixed. Their support link from the app store also does not work.

Used it once, didn’t work, and developer never updated again. - I am not sure why Apple has this even on their Mac App page. I get that it is buried way in the back of the store but don’t they go through and clean out apps like they do on the iTunes App store? Many games were removed once and for all. Not sure why this one hasn’t been.
