Very nice tutorial and editor - I followed the tutorial and it was pretty quick and easy. I love the flow from SpriteBuilder to xcode, it was quick, no complicated menu navigation steps. Animation was handled well also. The tutorial was very comprehensive and broken down into consumable chunks.
1.4.7 Crashes when creating a new project - I would like to review the app, however, creating a new project causes a pinwheel and then crashes the app. I have checked the forums, and this is not an isolated issue as there have been bug submissions on this, yet certain members of the dev team are denying it is an issue. So, as of now it is a paper weight.

Great product, but still needs work - This is an awesome effort. The killer features are the timeline based events (animation, sound, callbacks), sprite sheets, and cross platform support. However there are still some things broken in this version (1.4.9). The most limiting bug is the failure to support compression properly. This was brought to the developer’s attention on GitHub, but it was not fixed. This may be a sandboxing issue, but it still needs to be fixed. There has also been some flakiness when selecting colors. There needs to be a way to duplicate projects easily and import plists from ParticleDesigner. When these features are added and when the bugs are squashed, I will give this 5 stars, but I am just irritated enough and slowed down enough by the bugs, that I can’t give this more than 3 stars at this time. Still it is an excellent effort and shows amazing potential, and it’s free.
