Great for my homeschooled kids - Two of my kids have learned to type on this program, and although I don't love SpongeBob, this is the only typing program that I can find that is engaging and fun for my two elementary kiddos. It starts at a very easy level and moves at the kids pace. Shows where the fingers go at every screen. Great program; I'm surprised there are no more reviews!

Garbage - This seemed like a fun way for my brother to learn how to type, but all of the text is jumbled together and neither of us can make sense of it. It seems like everything else is put together correctly, but for some reason the text comes out looking like a pile of random overlapping letters and numbers. If they fix this issue this has the potential to be a pretty decent app.

Doesn't work with 10.8 - A great deal of the text was displaying improperly on my machine (hindering the ability to play any of the typing games). I contacted support and they informed me that anything above 10.7 isn't supported.

A must-have for any SpongeBob fan! - I'm a huge SpongeBob fan and as soon as I saw this app, I HAD to download it. Boy, am I glad I did. Not only does it entertain me and my little sister, it actually helps me type faster. Couple that with the silly humor of this "game", and you've got award-winning software called SpongeBob Teaches Typing. Highly recommended for kids learning how to type!

Kids like it. (Select Open in Low Resolution if using Retina display!) - I’ve tried a few typing tutor apps, and this one seems to engage my kids the most. NOTE: If you’re running on a Retina display, you need to set the application to run in Low Resolution or else the characters will overlap and be illegible. Select the application icon in Finder and then choose File > Get Info from the menu. In the Info window that appears, check the option to “Open in Low Resolution.” (I was given this tip as a response to an issue I submitted to the customer support site. Contrary to what others have reported, they were timely in responding to my support ticket.)

Broken - Doesn't work. Re-installed twice on my iMac and it won't allow me past the sign in screen. Also the instruction manual's instructions for deleting a user on a Mac aren't accurate. Command-R does NOT delete a listed user on the sign in screen. Completely useless.
