Could use quick tagging and less segregated nav - Seems fairly quick and capable so far, though it’s harder to determine performace with the image count limit. One area of improvement I’d like to see is with tagging: there’s no apparent way to quickly tag images by clicking a tags list or by keyboard keys. The typing or dragging works for infrequent tagging and making up new tags all the time but not for quickly applying an unchanging set of tags to a lot of varied images. Another is with the general separation of the top navigation. The “categories, tags, favorites, colors” seem like they’d be better as sections on the left. I think that would make using them faster and less prone to problems like: I’m in Tags mode and I add a Smart Folder—and when I finish defining that, it looks like it didn’t work—because that only appears if I’m in Catetories mode.
