Release Notes:

Thanks to everyone that's purchased this app over the years. I apologize that I haven't had time to keep this app up to date (keeping up with all the latest format codec changes, etc) and have made it free to make up for this. I hope you can still find it useful.

So Far So Good. - As a professional Final Cut Pro video editor, it's essential to the job that you can quickly, consistently convert tons of high quality audio files to a specific file format(usually .wav or aiff) with minimum time spent doing so and complete quality control. I've done a descent amount of conversions in this app and so far it looks like the miracle app I've been looking for and even considered creating myself. It simply does the job with plenty of specific settings for quality and type. GREAT!

Many Issues. Very Angry. - I had an older version of the software that contained a feature which let you amplify the native volume out the output file, which I loved, but it was a "Registered" feature. So rather than pay the money for a license, I checked the App Store to see if I can download it that way and have a copy attached to my Apple ID for future downloads. It was twice as expensive, but was the full version. Okay. So I bought it. And the features I wanted activated from the previous version were no longer present in the App. Turns out I'd have to still purchase a license within the older version of the app which would be stored on my computer as a file and would talk to the app, giving it the "OK" to enable the features I wanted. When I try to purchase it (again) that way, it continuously fails to connect to the server. I contacted the developer several times and explained this. He asked for my apple ID, which I gave him, and then I never heard from him again, despite repeated attempts to address this issue. So I paid twice as much for the App, to end up with the exact same thing I had in the first place, and am now completely unable to use the older version as well. I'm giving this 1 star. If the developer gets back to me and rectifies this issue, I'll change my review and rating. The app has potential, but there is no support whatsoever.

Broken within 1mins use. - I needed to change the sample rate etc. of a batch of wavs. I setup the conversion options, dragged my files into it and it complained about every one because it can't "convert wav to wav". Not a great user experience I thought but I'm sure if I just change the file format back to "Same as source file" then it won't complain and I'll be on my way… there is no option in the drop down for "Same as source file" so once you've picked a file format you can't change it back. Ok I'll just restart the app I thought… nope it retains the last options used so now I have no way of changing the conversion options back to "Same as source file" and I have a $9.99 software equivelant of a paper weight. If an update fixes this I will come back and review properly but as of now the app is non-functional.

Will not convert sd2 files and no answer from developer - I bought this in desperation one night to convert thousands of sound designer 2 (sd2) files to wav or aif. In the documentation it lists sd2 as a supported format. I tried several times with different options but always received error messages. The only reason I gave this two stars is that I sometimes use this program to quickly convert to mp3. The developer does not return my emails so that is a big NO for me. Don't buy this app, spend more money on something that works and has the customer service to back it up!

Needs to be updated for Yosemite - Keeps crashing on Yosemite. Only works if you out no more than 2 songs at once for it to convert.
