Bad game - This game is programmed to make you lose. I played it 97 times and won only 6 times. Updated: December 17, 2013: Played this game 160 times and won only 14 games. I don’t mind a challenge, but something is definitely wrong with these kind of stats. I am losing interest in a game that I am destined to lose this often.

Great! But... - When using a custom card-back, the picture doesn't crop correctly. The oversized picture exceeds the boundaries of the deck border. Other than that, I'm satisfied with this app. Everything I want from a solitaire app: sleek and clean design, crisp cards, and simple interface.

I play this often - When I’m making a phone call and I know I’m likely to be on hold while bad music plays through awful speakers I always open a solitaire game. I noticed with this specific solitaire game that if I win a game, the next 3 games are impossible to win - the cards I need to complete that game just can’t be uncovered. I’ve found a work-around to defeat this annoying glitch in the program. When I’ve won and the cards are slowly rolling over on to the deck I wait with my cursor poised over the “new game” icon and as soon as the row of 10’s begins to move I click that new game icon. Usually this disrupts the shuffling algorythm enough to make a new game that I can win. Then I just minimize the game until I want to play again. If it doesn’t work, which does happen sometimes, I can usually get a winnable game after a few tries. Strategy hint: I never put the first of 2 cards that can go to a place on a stack unless I’m sure the one other card that could go there is not in play. In other words if I draw a 6 of hearts that could go on a black seven I won’t use it until I’ve completed checking all the cards available to play to be sure there’s also a 6 of diamonds I could use - it’s a way to avoid “shooting myself in the foot” by reducing the risk that I’ll make it impossible to play a covered card when/if I do uncover it.

not as good as microsoft pc solitaire - This game is slow and lumbering. It is not nearly as strong as the microsoft PC version. I am actually quite disappointed in many Mac applications. This is one of them.

Something is wrong with this version - I play Branium Solitaire all the time on my iPhone. It is challenging, but you do win frequently. Not so with this game. Very frustrating.
