“I use it all the time, especially when I am writing about something that is time sensitive or has a complex date” -

- Snap -
Snap something on your screen so you can easily reference. The snap is always on top so you can focus on the content.

- Annotate -
Brush, text, shapes and more. Using annotations you can highlight what is important and take notes right on the snap.

- Share -
Send a URL of your snap to anyone via Snappy Link. You can even encrypt it with a password and set a self destruct timer.

- Organize & Sync -
The Snaps Library keeps track of your snaps on all your devices - as long as iCloud / Cloud Drive is enabled of course.

- Slack Ready -
Sending snapshots to Slack has never been easier. Simply connect your Slack account and you're ready to go.

- Share More -
Make sure to check all the other sharing options we have: Email, Facebook, Twitter, Imgur, Pinterest, Dropbox and Evernote.

What’s Not to Like about SnappyApp? - I am forever capturing images for my blog, quotes for my writing, prices and such for purchases I am planning. The old ways of screen capture are just a painful memory now that I am using Snap to display, annotate and share with so few keystrokes and such logical organization of access and use of my clips. I am only sorry it took me so long to discover something I’ve needed since the beginning! I wish there were settings to send mail through gmail and not the default apple Mail app; and it would be nice if there were settings that sent clips automatically to the gallery instead of making them “stay on top” until dismissed though a hotkey can be set to dismiss all snaps. Great useful beautiful tool!

Very Happy!!! - I was looking for something simple but that would sync to icloud. I have tried them all. Most drown you in options you will never use. Snappy gets A++ from me.

I can’t believe this is free. - This is what every Mac app should strive to be. It’s beautiful, intuitive, unintrusive, fast, and does exactly what you would expect without any bloat. Things like the “PixelPerfect Mode” to show/hide the snapshot’s drop shadow is an example of a feature I didn’t even know I wanted until I used it. My only (extremely minor) complaint was going to be that they show sharing options I don’t use (Slack) in the context menu… one look in the preferences AND YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE SERVICES THAT APPEAR IN THE CONTEXT MENU! This kind of attention to detail feels so rare these days, even from Apple themselves. Literally the only flaws I can find are extremely minor aesthetic details. A handful of UI elements are awkwardly placed (i.e. off center by a few pixels, some text items with way too much padding around them, etc). I can’t flaw the app for this very much considering it’s free, and the UX feels so streamlined and spot-on the aesthetic inconsistencies are very forgivable. For what it’s worth mentioning, I’m a developer who spends all day (and often all night) on the computer and like any professional am VERY picky about my tools. If you’re looking for a fast screenshot/annotating tool, this is it. Don’t even bother looking at anything else.
