What’s Not to Like about SnappyApp? - I am forever capturing images for my blog, quotes for my writing, prices and such for purchases I am planning. The old ways of screen capture are just a painful memory now that I am using Snap to display, annotate and share with so few keystrokes and such logical organization of access and use of my clips. I am only sorry it took me so long to discover something I’ve needed since the beginning! I wish there were settings to send mail through gmail and not the default apple Mail app; and it would be nice if there were settings that sent clips automatically to the gallery instead of making them “stay on top” until dismissed though a hotkey can be set to dismiss all snaps. Great useful beautiful tool!

Good App, but Leaks Your Data - 2016-08-29 A very good and handy app BUT it sends all your snapshots on the Snappy servers. This is a major concern if you work with any sort of sensitive data. You can use a utility to block the network access but Snappy still tries to connect. My logs showed 800+ connection attempts every 10 minutes. I did write to Snappy support asking if there was any way to disable this function, but never heard back. -1 Star for bleeding data. -1 Star for not being more upfront about it. -1 Star for support poor support. Use at your own risk.

Indispensable utility!!! - I use both Snappy and Screenfloat. Both have they strengths and weaknesses. At one point, I was planning on deleting one but they behave extremely well together, I’ve been running both since Snappy was first released. Of the hundreds of utilities I’ve used on a Mac since 1988, these are the most often used besides “ClipMenu." All 3 are indispensable to me.

Essential app I can’t live without - Absolutely essential app for all Mac power users! It’s easy to use and does everything exactly as advertised. I’ve been using it for more than a year now and its usefulness has proved itself 100 times over, and it’s ALL FOR FREE. I can’t even imagine owning a laptop without this app now.

Works Great on Mac - I was struggling to find an an app to take screen grabs. I looked at several different programs and very glad I went with Sanppy. It’s very easy to use and i haven’t had any issues with the program. It’s made me much more efficient.
