SnapNDrag Pro is screen capture made ridiculously easy. Here is an app you didn't know you need until you try it.
-- WHO IS IT FOR?
As the old saying goes, "A screenshot is worth a thousand words."
There are myriad reasons to take a screenshot: note-taking, tech support, comparison shopping, on-screen reference etc.
SnapNDrag is the perfect screenshot tool for students, teachers, designers, developers, support … just about anyone who uses a computer, really.
Why use SnapNDrag over OS X's built-in Grab? Because SnapNDrag does much more than just *take* screenshots. Please read on.
-- SHOOT ● ORGANIZE ● ANNOTATE ● SHARE
SnapNDrag makes taking screenshots super easy. Click, select and the screenshot is added to your library.
SnapNDrag maintains a library of all the screenshots you have ever taken. Think of it as iPhoto for screenshots. You can organize by Folders. You can batch rename items. You can type into the search field and get live updates in the browser. SnapNDrag maintains its own Trash so you undo a delete if you need to.
If a screenshot is worth a thousand words then an annotated screenshot is worth a million. Simply double click to open an item for editing in Preview. Use Preview's edit tools to add text, draw arrows or circles. When you hit Save in Preview, SnapNDrag instantly picks up the changes and updates the browser. Since what you're editing is a *copy*, you can easily revert to the original.
When it comes time to share, SnapNDrag provides many ways to do that. Use the Share button to send via Mail, Messages, AirDrop, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr. Or drag a screenshot from the browser and drop it into the Mail or Message you're composing -- in fact, you can drag it to pretty much any app where it makes sense. And if you're old school, copy-and-paste works too.
-- POWERFUL YET SIMPLE
Don't let SnapNDrag's simplicity fool you. When you dig deeper, you will find lots of options to satisfy the power user. For example, you can activate functions using global hot keys. You can also run SnapNDrag as a background app (no Dock icon).

The BEST Screenshot App Ever - I've been using this app for about seven years now, even before the Mac App Store, and I can't live without it. Native screenshot handling in Mac OS X is just too clumsy, and I always tend to forget the shortcuts. On top of that, you get a nice UI for managing screenshots you took in the past. What I love: Not having to save EVERY screenshot that I take. It just sits in SnapNDrag and I can either drag it to the desktop, or even straight onto Photoshop and begin working right away! I also love being able to switch between timed, selection, window, or fullscreen screenshots at the click of the button, as well as the output format/quality. You'd never believe that with those many options, you can still have such a simple little app that's VERY easy to use. I'm an iOS/Mac developer and this is one of the first things I download and install whenever I set up a new Mac. Now I'm glad it's on the Mac App store so I never have to put much effort into re-downloading it if needed. I have no complaints, this is as good as software gets :-)
Does what you need - I’ve been using this app for years. It does exactly what you need - capture screenshots. Lots of options (including timers, selection, file types and scaling). Highly recommend this one.
Reliable and fun to use - A must have! It now includes the ability to annotate screenshots. Works flawlessly.
The best screen capture tool I own - I’ve owned many Mac screen capture tools over the past 30+ years — this is my favorite. I use it every day. I put my library on Dropbox, and can share all the pictures across all my devices. VERY handy. I like having different ways to capture images, but best of all, keeping a history of the pictures is REALLY useful. Thanks Yellow Mug!
Best Screenshot Manager on the Market - SnapNDrag just keeps getting better and better. I am so grateful to the devs for consistently showing it love and I wish it continues to live a lasting life and be upgraded in the years to come. I love the new import feature because annotating is a breeze. What I do wish was that the app supported drag and drop for images. That would make SnapNDrag PERFECT.
