The intelligent currency converter that works like a normal calculator. Conversions happen automatically. You can even do math while mixing and matching currencies... add 10 dollars to 20 euros, and show the result in yen! You'll be amazed by how simple and intuitive it is. But it gets even better!

The Smart Currency Calculator isn't just a great currency converter, it's a great calculator too. You can undo anything. Copy and paste like a pro. Best of all, you can customize the calculator buttons with your favorite currencies, with the full list available at the press of a button.

The full list of currencies is extensive. You can change the US dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, New Zealand dollar, Swiss franc, Swedish krona, Norwegian krone, Danish krone, Hong Kong dollar, Bulgarian lev, Brazilian real, Chinese yuan, Czech koruna, Croatian kuna, Hungarian forint, Indonesian rupiah, Israeli new shekel, Indian rupee, South Korean won, Mexican peso, Malaysian ringgit, Philippine peso, Polish złoty, Romanian leu, Russian ruble, Singapore dollar, Thai baht, Turkish lira, and South African rand.

Exchange rates are downloaded from the internet automatically whenever they are 6 hours out of date. If the rates are more than 24 hours out of date, you'll see a warning, but you can still use the calculator. To get the latest rates, just connect to the internet, open the app, and wait a few seconds.

A lot of thought and effort went into making this app easy and friendly to use. It's so easy that there is no "convert" button. There's no need for one, because I've made currency conversion work very naturally. I hope you'll give it a try. I don't travel without it.

Great, but... - I love the concept. I need a currency converter to be able to use Quickbook for Mac 2013 with multi currency, for which it does not have any support now. Just to change two currencies into US$ and enter it into Quickbooks for Mac. Here are a couple of suggestions. Enable adding any currency manually. Current coutry list is too short. Have some sort of table the user could input with dates so conversion rates used could be saved by user. Enable blanking any currency key (long the top of the converter)you want. Many are only going to want to convert from one or two currencies and clearing away unwanted key clutter would be great. (Option to reduce number of buttons and make the remaining ones bigger? Make sure copy and paste work great so it can b used with other programs (to give them multicurrency capability). Or even some sort of auto transfer of data from Smart Converter at a keyclick, if such a thing is possible. Enable turning off auto currency updating. Some, like me, only want to use a monthly rate. I would be willing to pay a lot more for these features. Good work. Looking forward to future version.
