SkySafari - This is close to a Freeware program called SkyGlobe. It is easy to use and lets you know what planets, stars and Messea (Spelling) objects are out tonight. To rate a free program any less that 4 or 5 stars is silly. If you want more, then you would have to pay for more. I Love it.

Everything you'd want in a night sky app. - Beautiful graphics, easy navigating and personalizing settings. All the basics and nice extras too, like comets and satellites, and red-on-black display for night vision. Well crafted!

Perfect to check the position of the Milky Way - Most online articles I read said that you can only find the position of the MW on a Planisphere. Well, I don’t have one of them and I needed to know today. Presto, SkySafari to the rescue! Easily customizable, very interactive and intuitive. Perfect! Thank you.

Version 1.8

Excellent and enlightening. - As a person who is infatuated with the stars, constellations, asterisms, and other heavenly bodies, this application has helped me immensely in researching where certain stars and constellations are located at different times of the year, and providing information on every heavenly body I select. One thing—I only wish the night mode was just a little bit easier to see.
