Will not open to use - I have heard that this is a good simple server but I cannot even open it once it downloads and I have deleted and downloaded it several times.

It is really what it is, a Simple HTTP Server. - It is a really simple HTML server, for those who say it is not opening it is because it doesn't open as an app, it is in the bar at the top of the screen. You click on the app in the aplications folder; go to the bar at the top of the screen; click; Start Server; and choose your .html file. But for some reason the background picture will not show at all, thats why it is a two-three star, because it is for simple html's but then again it could be my setup for the file.

Simple Enough - It does what it says. It is easy to setup and it helps me view the website I am creating on other devices easily. Please add the ability to copy the address from the alert that pops up. Also, you must be on the same wifi network in order to connect to the address. It would be nice if this would set you up to host the site off of your own machine.

Does what it says - Yes, it's a simple straightforward server. Those having difficulty launching it - the program doesn't show you a window immediately. It loads an icon in your system menu bar somewhere on the upper right of your screen. Click that menu icon to get to the server options. Yes, it does open a port on your Mac. That's what a server is intended to do. If you don't have a port open, you can't serve any files.
