Silo is the delightful way to share and manage your lists.
• Share your lists.
Silo is there to keep your life moving. Share lists of all sorts and with everyone in your life, here are just a few examples:
- Projects with your co-workers
- Grocery lists with your family
- Places you want to visit with friends
- Anything your heart desires!
• Stay in sync.
Sync all of your lists between your iPhone, iPad and Mac. Silo is available natively for all iOS and OSX devices. If you are on a device that does not use iOS or OSX, a website is available to manage all of your lists.
• A delightful interface.
Using Silo is a pleasure. There are plenty of themes to choose from, so Silo's interface never gets dull. Gestures and animations provide a very fun experience on top of a gorgeous user interface. Give it a try and see for yourself! :)

Best To-Do app for me - I’m a frustrated Clear user. I’ve liked Clear, but since they can’t seem to get syncing to work, I’m jumping ship. I actually purchased Silo a long time ago for my Mac and iPhone, but it had some bugs that made me stop using it. I’ve gone back to it over the last couple of weeks, and I’m happy to say the developer seems to have fixed the bugs. It actually has more features than Clear, like hierachical entries. Most importantly, the sync has been rock solid, unlike Clear, while maintaining the same ease-of-use as Clear. This is my to-do app of choice!

Crashes immediately - The app crashes each time I try to log in. Useless.
Great shared list manager - My wife and I use this app for shared shopping lists. We tried using the OS X Reminders app, but we have notifications turned on there for our To-Do’s (our main use of the Reminders app). That meant our phones started dinging every time one of us added an item to a shopping list or bought something at the store. This app solves the problem nicely. We turned off notifications in Silo, so we can add items to a shopping list (one for grocery, one for Target, and so on) and remove items from a list when we buy something without driving each other crazy. I got both the Mac and iPhone versions, so we can update lists no matter where we are. I had the same ‘app crashes when I log in’ problem as another reviewer. I changed my password to remove certain special characters that might be used in an injection attack (@,#, and so on)—some apps terminate immediately when they see these characters in a login password. Removing the characters solved the problem, and login has gone smoothly from there. One quirk about the app: The Mac version doesn’t have a print capability. Printing is done from the iPhone app—click the settings icon in the lower-right corner, and you’ll see an option to Air-Print any list. I’ve put in a wish-list request with the developer for print capabilities on the Mac version. I’d rate support for this app as good—I emailed the developer a question on a Friday night and had a response by lunchtime the next day. So long as you understand how printing is done, I have no hesitation in recommending the app.
