Description:

From a former Hollywood Agent, a watermarking solution designed for Film & TV scripts. Script Watermarker is designed to embed watermarks which do not impact script readability into screenplays and teleplays, protecting the interests of the writer, tracking the identity of the original intended recipient or simply identifying the owner of the material.

Unlike other watermarking technologies which use alphanumeric characters or vector art, Script Watermarker utilizes patterns of dots modulated with noise and identifying marks encoded as voids in the geometric pattern. The resulting marks are easy to identify, yet do not detract from script readability, a key requirement of script watermarks.

Script Watermarker can also "rasterize" pages (convert them into images like scanned pages) to permanently disable copy & paste.

No watermarking technique is 100% secure or non-intrusive.

Just in time for pilot season.

Works with any PDF source document in US Letter, Legal or A4 paper sizes.

Always register your original work at the U.S. Copyright Office at least a week before sending to anyone in industry. You can do this online quickly and easily at www.copyright.gov. For more information about how a US Copyright protects your writing, visit www.storyrights.org .

It needs 1 update. - This app is clever & helpful, but lacks in a couple of basic things. -- For 1, it needs to be upgraded for the MAC Retina screens when showing the PDF preview. It also needs to all you to watermark just 1 word of your choice going diagnally instead of putting the same one over & over. It also only allows you to put it up to 150 DPI, which I think it should allow up to 300 DPI for more printing options. A couple of over functionality & this app would be really worth it, for more than just screenplays...
